ABN AMRO Open 2025: All you need to know about prize money and points on offer

Carlos Alcaraz steps into ABN AMRO Open 2025 as the top seed.
Carlos Alcaraz will play for the first time at the ABN AMRO Open in Rotterdam. The World No. 3 will have an eye on the trophy, his first since his triumph at the China Open in Beijing last season. Alcaraz, the top seed at the event, will be eager to erase the memories of his quarter-final loss at the Australian Open to Novak Djokovic.
Despite being comfortable on a variety of surfaces, the Spaniard has yet to reach the title round in an indoor event. A win in Rotterdam will aid Alcaraz in his quest to close the gap with World No. 2 Alexander Zverev, who is 1075 points ahead in the live rankings.
Carlos Alcaraz is to face Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp in his Rotterdam Opeener. In their most recent meeting, the Spaniard lost to the Zandschulp in the second round of the US Open last year. Joining Alcaraz are 2023 champion, Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, and Alex de Minaur. Rublev took the title in 2021, while De Minaur was finalist in 2024.

Also in the fray is Stan Wawrinka, who claimed the title in 2015 and was a finalist in 2019. The Swiss will be making his seventh appearance in Rotterdam. Felix Auger-Aliassime, the 2022 champ, will also be making an appearance. The Canadian is fresh off claiming the title at the ATP 250 event in Montpellier, his second of the season after the Adelaide International in January.
Home home Tallon Griekspoor will be looking to give the Dutch fans something to cheer about. Griekspoor made the last four in Rotterdam for the past two years but fell to Jannik Sinner on both occasions. Griekspoor will be joined in the main draw by compatriot Botik Van de Zandschulp as he looks to have a Dutch name on the winners’ list for the first time since Jan Simmerink in 1998.
