Aryna Sabalenka rocks out at Coldplay concert with boyfriend Georgios Frangulis in Miami (See Pics)

World No. 1 spotted at Coldplay concert at the Hard Rock Stadium.

World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka is on a long holiday as she ditched her tennis shoes and let her hair down at the Coldplay concert in Miami over the weekend.

Coldplay, a British rock band, are currently on their Music of the Spheres world tour, with Miami being their last stop in the United States. The World No. 1 was seen at the VIP suite of the Hard Rock Stadium along with her friends and boyfriend Georgios Frangulis.

Shortly after a disappointing loss to Coco Gauff at the Roland Garros finals, the 27-year-old Sabalenka headed to the Greek island of Mykonos to soak up the sun. The US Open singles defending champion is on a tour-leading 47-9 win-loss record in the ongoing season.

Sabalenka shared a glimpse of herself at the concert on her Instagram handle along with the caption, “Good music & good company.” The Hard Rock Stadium is home to the Miami Open, which the Belarusian won in March. The Hard Rock Stadium is also the home turf of the popular NFL franchise, the Miami Dolphins.

The Belarusian wasn’t the only sportsperson attending the concert. Lionel Messi, the Inter Miami forward, also graced the venue to watch Coldplay perform, along with his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo. The couple were spotted on the ‘Kiss Cam’, with the video going viral for all the right reasons. The crowd erupted in cheers as a smiling Messi waved at the crowd. 

Sabalenka has withdrawn from the ongoing WTA 1000 in Montreal, citing fatigue after a lengthy European swing. She reached the semi-finals at Wimbledon 2025, where she lost to American Amanda Anisimova.

The Belarusian was to partner with Grigor Dimitrov for the US Open mixed doubles event. Those plans have been thrown into doubt after Dimitrov announced he won’t be playing in New York as he was still recovering from the pectoral muscle injury he sustained at Wimbledon. 

Iga Swiatek, the newly crowned Wimbledon champion, has paired up with Casper Ruud for the event. Amanda Anisimova, the runner-up at SW19, has signed up to play with Holger Rune. 

Jannik Sinner-Emma Navarro, Carlos Alcaraz-Emma Raducanu, Novak Djokovic-Olga Danilovic, and Jack Draper-Paula Badosa are some of the prominent doubles pairs who will compete in the renovated mixed doubles event at the 2025 US Open.

Last year’s US Open women’s singles finalist Jessica Pegula has roped in Tommy Paul as her partner for the doubles draw. They are another high-profile duo participating in the event.
