Aryna Sabalenka vs Jessica Bouzas Maneiro prediction, betting tips & odds, head-to-head, preview: Cincinnati Open 2025

The defending champion has now registered 20 main draw wins in Cincinnati.
Aryna Sabalenka and Emma Raducanu picked up right from where they left off at Wimbledon. The Belarusian defeated Raducanu at SW19 in straight sets on that occasion and Raducanu came close to flipping the script in the third round of the ongoing Cincinnati Open.
The Briton put on a tenacious display to stretch Sabalenka to three sets. The result was the longest match of day five, consuming three hours and nine minutes to reach its conclusion. In the end, the top seed overcame the 22-year-old Raducanu, 7-6(3), 4-6, 7-6(5) and won her third straight match against the British No. 1.
Sabalenka finished with 46 winners and won her 18th tiebreak of 2025 – an Open Era record for most tie-breaks won by a woman in a single season. It was also her 16th consecutive tie-break win going back to Brisbane in January.
She also arrived at her 51st week as World No. 1 to equal her compatriot Victoria Azarenka’s stint in the top spot. The top seed could also win her 50th match of the season when she takes on Maneiro on Wednesday.
The WTA World No. 1 will face off against Jessica Bouzas Maneiro in the fourth round on Wednesday. The Spaniard defeated wild card Taylor Townsend, 6-4, 6-1 in 81 minutes to reach the round of 16 at the Masters 1000 event for the second year in a row.
Maneiro converted five breakpoints and saved an equal number en route to victory over Townsend in their maiden head-to-head.

Preview
Jessica Bouzas Maneiro, unseeded in Cincinnati, has yet to drop a set so far in the tournament. Maneiro began by defeating seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams in the first round, before going on to defeat Leylah Fernandez and then making short work of Taylor Townsend in the second and third rounds.
Sabalenka and Maneiro are facing off for the second time this season since the top seed overcame the Spaniard in the second round of the 2025 Australian Open.
Maneiro climbed to career-high No. 42 in the WTA Rankings after reaching the quarter-finals at the Canadian Open. A potential top 30 debut awaits the Spaniard if she finds a way past Sabalenka.

Match prediction
Maneiro did not shy away from a fight the last time she clashed with Sabalenka in Melbourne. The Spaniard mixed up her shots, probing Sabalenka’s game with drop shots and packing away down-the-line winners when the opportunity presented itself.
Sabalenka relies on raw power to win matches—a high-risk approach that yields winners and unforced errors in substantial numbers. Over the course of her third-round win over Emma Raducanu, the top seed fired 46 winners, but more than matched it with 72 unforced errors.
Maneiro with 152 winners to her name, led the field in the women’s singles draw at Montreal. She earned those numbers, even though she made a quarter-final exit at the WTA 1000 event, thus her ability to go on the offensive.
However, with a considerable gap in their tour-level experience, the momentum shifts in Sabalenka’s favour. The top seed’s ability to dictate play from the baseline will see her across the finish line.
Ideally, the top seed would like to wrap it up in straight sets, given her tendency to lose her way in three-setters, as seen at Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
Result: Aryna Sabalenka to win in straight sets.
