Australian Alex de Minaur is a debutant at the ATP Finals 2024.

After a captivating season with more than its fair share of twists, turns and nail-biting finishes, the eight players on the ATP Tour arrived in Turin earlier this week for the year-ending ATP Finals 2024. The ATP Finals, a season finale for the past 54 seasons, including the upcoming edition, will begin Sunday at the Inalpi Arena.

The singles event competitors are divided into two groups. Jannik Sinner heads the Ilie Nastase Group with Daniil Medvedev, Taylor Fritz, and Alex de Minaur for company. Two time-champion Alexander Zverev, Carlos Alcaraz, Casper Ruud, and Andrey Rublev, are a part of the John Newcombe Group.

Zverev took home the ATP Finals trophy in London in 2018 and 2021 when the event was hosted by Turin to become the first year-end champion at the new venue. Russian Daniil Medvedev is another former champion, having won the title in 2020.

Medvedev is a familiar face in Turin and will make his sixth ATP Finals appearance in a row. Zverev, too, is no stranger to the Inalpi Arena, having played every year from 2017 except for the 2023 edition.

The doubles draw has two Grand Slam-winning teams in the same group.

Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic are the top seeds and find themselves in the Bob Bryan Group. Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori, Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden, along with Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz, are included in the same group. The Arevalo/Pavic duo won the Roland Garros trophy this season, as did Bopanna and Ebden, who claimed the Australian Open trophy in January.

Second seeds Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos head the Mike Bryan Group. Wesley Koolhof and Nikola Mektic, Max Purcell and Jordan Thompson, and Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten complete the lineup. Granollers and Zeballos won Masters doubles events in Rome and Canada, while Koolhof and Mektic claimed the ATP Finals doubles title in 2020.
