Alcaraz won eight titles and finished as year-end No. 1 in 2025.
Carlos Alcaraz is running out of room to store his trophies. The Spaniard added eight tour-level titles in the 2025 season and finished as the year-end No. 1 for the second time in his career.
Alcaraz took over the top position after winning his second US Open title, ascending to the World No. 1 ranking for the first time since August 2023.
The 22-year-old, sidelined from the ongoing Davis Cup with a hamstring injury, shared a photo of himself cheering on the Spanish squad as they edged out Czechia, 2-1, and advanced to the last-four stage.
The image posted on X (formerly Twitter) caught the eye of IKEA Spain, which offered the Spanish star a second bookshelf, as the one he had was getting full.”
Six-time champions Spain will cross paths with three-time title holders Germany in the semi-finals for a chance to play Italy in the championship round. Defending champions Italy got the better of Belgium, 2-0, to reach their third final in a row at the Davis Cup.
Alcaraz has six Grand Slam titles to his name, including the rare Channel Slam achievement – earned by sweeping the French Open and Wimbledon titles in 2024.

The ATP World No. 1 capped the 2025 season by reaching the championship round of the year-ending ATP Finals in Turin. Alcaraz was undefeated in the group stage but lost to his main rival, Jannik Sinner, in straight sets.
Victory at Turin would have made Alcaraz just the third Spaniard to win the year-ending event after Manuel Orantes (1976) and Alex Corretja (1998).
The Australian Open remains the only major missing from his collection. Should Alcaraz claim the Norman Brookes Challenge Cup in January 2026, a place in the record books awaits as the youngest ever career Grand Slam winner.
Alcaraz’s eight title haul in 2025 makes it his best season on record, eclipsing the six he won in 2023. The 2025 season also saw the Spaniard win his first indoor hard-court title of his career at Rotterdam in February.
