Hello and welcome to Khel Now’s live blog for Carlos Alcaraz vs Andrey Rublev fourth-round match in Wimbledon 2025.

Carlos Alcaraz, the two-time defending champion, remains on track to become just the fifth man in the Open Era to win three or more consecutive titles at Wimbledon. Every win at SW19 this season also brings the Spaniard closer to joining Bjorn Borg as the second man in ATP history to claim the Roland Garros-Wimbledon double in consecutive years

Last month, the World No. 2 fought back from the brink by saving three championship points in a dramatic five-set win over Jannik Sinner at Roland Garros.

A brief dip in rhythm saw Alcaraz lose the second set to Struff, but he powered back in the third set when he won 89% of his first serve points. Sets three and four accounted for 22 of the 38 winners struck by Alcaraz during the match duration.

Andrey Rublev’s decision to sign up Marat Safin as coach appears to be paying dividends as the Moscow native is now one match win away from matching his best result at SW19. Rublev made the finals of the Hamburg Open in May, his first since Safin came on board as his coach in April.

The 27-year-old Rublev came back from a set down to defeat unseeded South African Lloyd Harris 6-7(1), 6-4, 7-6(3), 6-3 for the third time in a row.
