Iga Swiatek defeated Jasmine Paolini in the summit clash to win her fourth French Open title.

The likes of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz and others have congratulated Iga Swiatek for her historic 2024 French Open title.

Polish tennis star Iga Swiatek defeated Italy’s Jasmine Paolini 6-2, 6-1 in the 2024 French Open final to win her fourth Roland-Garros title in the last five years. In 2020, she became the first Polish tennis player to win a Grand Slam title and since then, she has never looked back.

Swiatek has been an astounding force on the red dirt and she’s currently on a 21-match unbeaten streak at Stade Roland Garros. She lost her last match in Paris during the 2021 French Open quarter-finals against Greek tennis star Maria Sakkari in straight sets.

On Saturday, she added another Grand Slam title to her trophy cabinet. After the triumph, the tennis world came forward to congratulate the 23-year-old. Swiatek took to social media and uploaded a post where she could be seen posing alongside the Roland-Garros accolade.

24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic was among the first tennis stars to laud the Pole for her historic feat. He commented on her Instagram post, “Congratulations, Iga!”

Afterwards, Rafael Nadal shared her video with the French Open title on his story and congratulated Iga Swiatek. Interestingly, Swiatek is also a Rafa Nadal Academy graduate.

Two-time Grand Slam champion and 2024 French Open finalist Carlos Alcaraz congratulated the World No. 1 for her stellar performance in the clay court Major.
