Iga Świątek, the 2022 BNP Paribas Open champion, is set to face her conqueror Linda Noskova from the season-opening Australian Open in the third round of Indian Wells Open 2024 on Sunday. In the third round, Świątek is slated to compete against Linda Nosková, the World No. 50 who stunned her in three sets during their third round encounter in Melbourne—marking Świątek’s earliest departure from Melbourne Park since her second-round loss in 2019.

Nosková prevailed over Italy’s Camila Giorgi in her second round match, clinching a 6-3, 7-5 victory in 1 hour and 35 minutes during their first-ever clash. The upcoming third round match against Świątek will be their second confrontation this year and their third overall on the tour.
