Djokovic has also equalled Federer for most Australian Open wins.
It was another record-breaking day for Novak Djokovic. He downed Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp in straight sets to register his 400th Grand Slam win.
The Serb is the first player, male or female, to reach the milestone. Djokovic has held the record for most Grand Slam wins since 2024, when he went past Federer’s tally of 369.
The 38-year-old, a 10-time Australian Open champion, defeated Zandschulp, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6(4), avenging his loss to the Dutchman in Indian Wells last year.
Djokovic has now equalled Federer’s 102 match wins in Melbourne Park. The World No. 4 has another of Federer’s records in the crosshairs.

At the US Open, where he is a four-time champion, Djokovic is five shy of the magic number at 95.
