Defending champion Jannik Sinner will not be able to take part in the Miami Open 2025.

The Miami Open marks the ending of the hard-court season. The 2025 edition is set to kick off from March 16 and will take place on the outdoor hardcourts of the Hard Rock Stadium. The tournament is part of the ATP Masters 1000 events on the ATP Tour and WTA 1000 events on the WTA Tour, thereby making it one of the most significant competitions outside of the 4 Grand Slams.

With less than a month to go, for the showdown in Miami, the organisers announced the full list of players set to feature in the event. Jannik Sinner remains a notable exclusion from the list, he continues to serve his three-month ban and hence will not be able to defend his title.

However, the ATP sector has no shortage of talent. Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, and Daniil Medvedev are some of the names from the massive group of high-profile players. Top seeds including Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, and Elena Rybakina are set to feature in the WTA division.

Defending champion Danielle Collins will also have the opportunity to retain her title. The entry list features every eligible man in the ATP Top 77 and every woman in the WTA Top 72, with players representing 37 countries. On that note, let’s take a look at the full list of players who are set to play in Florida.
