Novak Djokovic vs Rinky Hijikata live streaming, TV channel, where & how to watch: Paris Masters 2026
Novak Djokovic leads the head-to-head against Rinky Hijikata by 2-0
Novak Djokovic faces Rinky Hijikata in the second round of Paris Masters 2026 after surviving a tough opening-round battle against Valentin Vacherot. The Serbian came from a set and break down to become the oldest match winner in the tournament’s history at 39.
The win also keeps his hopes of qualifying for the ATP Finals alive. He will now look to build on that comeback against Australian qualifier Rinky Hijikata, who has already played three matches in Paris.
Hijikata defeated Jaime Faria and Vit Kopriva in qualifying before overcoming Luciano Darderi in the first round, all in straight sets.

The two players have met twice previously, with the Serbian prevailing in both encounters. The 25-year-old will look to take inspiration from Jan-Lennard Struff, Mariano Navone, and others, who staged unexpected upsets against Djokovic this year.
Djokovic, meanwhile, will be keen to manage his physical condition after spending two hours and 35 minutes on court against Vacherot, during which he also received treatment for a shoulder issue.
On paper, this looks to be a favourable matchup for the Serbian, and the best case scenario will be a straight sets win, which will help him save energy for the business end of the competition.
