Top five players to win most ATP 1000 Masters titles before turning 22

Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal are the top two on the list.
Few tennis players achieve greatness during the twilight of their careers, while a few excel at the start. After the four Grand Slams, the ATP 1000 Masters events are the most prestigious on the tour. These nine tournaments are held throughout the year on different surfaces across different continents.
One would require experience and a brilliant skill set to ace the tournaments, but often, the tennis world witnesses a prodigy taking the applause. Winning one title might be considered a fluke, but winning multiple competitions at the top level shows class.

5. Alexander Zverev: 3

Although Alexander Zverev has yet to win a Grand Slam title, the German tennis star has been quite dominant on the court. His ability to adapt to different surfaces throughout the year has solidified his place as one of the best players on the tour.
Before turning 22, he had reached the finals of the Italian Open, Canadian Open, and Miami Open. Interestingly, he won his two initial ATP 1000 Masters titles in Rome and Montreal against Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer, respectively.

He excelled during the North American Swing and won the Canada Open and the Cincinnati Masters in 2003. At that time, he was one of the best young American players on the tour.
3. Novak Djokovic: 4

Statistically, one of the best players in tennis history, Novak Djokovic, has won 40 ATP 1000 Masters titles. He lost his first-ever final, in the Indian Wells Masters, to Rafael Nadal.
He subsequently won four consecutive finals between 2007 and 2008, before losing in five Masters finals to Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal, and Roger Federer. However, he had four Master’s titles before he turned 22.
2. Carlos Alcaraz: 6

One of the two Spaniards on the list, Carlos Alcaraz, is destined for greatness in the future. Alcaraz has won all four Grand Slam finals yet and has succeeded in winning six out of the seven ATP 1000 Masters finals.
Additionally, the next Masters tournament will be the Madrid Open, and he will turn 22 before the tournament ends.
1. Rafael Nadal: 11

Strong and precise, Rafael Nadal was an unstoppable force in his initial years on the tour. He ended his career as a 22-time Grand Slam champion; however, the title would have been more if time on the tennis court hadn’t been ill-fated due to injuries.
Despite injuries, Nadal has achieved greatness in his singles career, something no other star can ever achieve. At 22, the Spaniard already has 11 ATP Masters 1000 titles to his name, and at the moment, that record seems unbeatable.
