Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev headline this star-studded field.

Jannik Sinner returns after arguably the toughest defeat of his career in Paris. The Italian stood at the brink of a maiden French Open title but ended up falling short in the fifth set deciding tie-breaker. Sinner continues to remain the World No. #1 and will be hoping to make amends on grass.

The reigning champion is the outright favourite at ATP Halle Open 2025, and the absence of Carlos Alcaraz in this event will delight the top seed, as the Spaniard has recently been invincible against the Italian, winning their past five exchanges.

He will still have to be at the top of his game, as local hope Alexander Zverev will be the second seed coming on the back of a finale appearance in Boss Open.

Third seed Daniil Medvedev will be desperate for form as this could be his one final chance to regain form ahead of the Wimbledon Championships. The Russian has been struggling since the start of the season and has lost his top-10 spot. With plenty of points to defend in the marquee Grand Slam event, the former US Open champion needs to regain his mojo quickly.

Brazilian tennis prodigy Joao Fonseca is certain to capture a lot of attention as he begins his campaign against Flavio Cobolli. Stefanos Tsitsipas will be unseeded, after a miserable clay season where he failed to win even a single title this year.

As a result, the Greek fell to #25 on the ATP rankings, and he would hope the recent vacation away from tennis will bring in the much-needed change in fortune.

Alexander Bublik exceeded expectations in Paris, and is the player to watch out for at Halle Open 2025. Meanwhile, 2024 finalist Hubert Hurkacz kicks off his campaign against seventh seed Tomas Machac, while fourth seed Andrey Rublev will play Sebastian Ofner in the opening round. Should the seedings hold, a potential final between World No. #1 and #3 looms at OWL Arena.
