Carlos Alcaraz vs Jannik Sinner head-to-head record, last 5 meetings

Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz clash at the Cincinnati Open final in the latest page of their rivalry.
A month after his heartbreaking defeat in Paris, Jannik Sinner sweetened his revenge by beat Carlos Alcaraz to lift the Wimbledon 2025 title, in their last meeting on tour. Unlike their title match at Roland Garros, this one did not touch history as much, with Sinner winning in four sets and without much of a sweat.
The scoreline read 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 in a little over three hours, making Sinner the first Italian ever to lift a singles title at the prestigious all England Club. It is also his maiden grass court major and took him 2-0 clear of two-time winner Alcaraz in head-to-head records at Wimbledon.
Notwithstanding this defeat, Alcaraz has had his moments and is still 8-5 ahead in overall h2h record against Sinner.
At Grand Slam finals it 1-1, with Alcaraz’s win coming in the 2024 French Open final, where he saved championship points and overcame a two-set deficit in the longest-ever men’s singles final at Roland Garros to cement his place as the undisputed champion on Clay following Rafael Nadal’s retirement.
Alcaraz and Sinner had made a name for themselves as two of the ATP Tour’s most promising young players and have within a short span proved their dominance on the tour. Alcaraz became the youngest male tennis player to hold the top spot in the world rankings after winning his maiden Grand Slam at the 2022 US Open. The then 19-year-old defeated Casper Ruud of Norway 6-4, 2-6, 7-6, 6-3.
Talking about the Italian, Sinner guided Italy to their first Davis Cup victory since 1976 in November 2023. In 2024, he climbed to the top of the rankings for the first time. In the same year, he also clinched his maiden Grand Slam Championship, beating Daniil Medvedev to lift the Australian Open title—the first Italian to do it since 1976.
