WTA Wuhan Open 2025: Updated schedule, fixtures, results, live streaming details

Aryna Sabalenka is undefeated in Wuhan since 2018.
WTA World No. 1 and three-time defending champion Aryna Sabalenka will descend on the Chinese city to defend her title at Wuhan Open 2025. She has won the last three editions of the event and will be aiming for her fourth consecutive title in the 2025 edition.
Being the final WTA 1000 event of the season before the year-end WTA Finals, it’s a final opportunity to add valuable ranking points. Amanda Anisimova and Madison Keys confirmed their places for Riyadh this week, leaving three spots up for grabs. Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, and defending champion Coco Gauff had already secured their places.

Anisimova and Linda Noskova were finalists at the recently concluded China Open. The duo will arrive in Wuhan with newfound fame and substantial WTA points in the bag. Noskova will make her Top 20 debut on Monday despite her loss in the China Open finals.
Top-ranked Chinese player Qinwen Zheng continues to be sidelined from the tour with a troublesome elbow. The Chinese player has withdrawn from her home events at Wuhan and Ningbo.
Zheng also had the misfortune of withdrawing from the China Open during her third-round match against Linda Noskova. Zheng was a finalist last season, losing out to top seed Sabalenka in three sets, 3-6, 7-5, 6-3.
Despite Zheng’s absence, the roster remains impressive, featuring 8 of the top 10 players from the WTA Tour.
