Who is Jannik Sinner's rumoured girlfriend Lara Lieto? Everything you need to know

Jannik Sinner and Kalinskaya have reportedly split.
Current World No. 1 Jannik Sinner had a positive start to the year as he won his third Grand Slam title by triumphing at the Australian Open. After this, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) imposed a three-month ban on the Italian player.
Sinner is yet to return to action at the Italian Open 2025, where he is set to defend his title. Despite missing key tournaments like Monte Carlo Masters, Madrid Open, Indian Wells Open and Miami Open, the 23-year-old will remain at the top of the ATP rankings, leading with a healthy margin due to the inconsistency in performances by Alexander Zverev (ranked second), and Carlos Alcaraz (ranked third), who was ruled out of Madrid due to an injury.
What happened to Anna Kalinskaya?
Despite Jannik Sinner’s absence from the court, the Italian has remained in the spotlight due to off-court speculation. The buzz surrounds his relationship with WTA star Anna Kalinskaya, which reportedly began in April 2024.
Nearly a year later, rumors of a split intensified as the pair hadn’t been seen together in months. Kalinskaya, now ranked a career-best No. 11, has also struggled with recurring injuries this season, adding further intrigue to the situation.

During the Miami Open, her former boyfriend, Tomas Ferrari, was seen in her player box, further fueling rumors of a split with Sinner. Although neither Sinner nor Kalinskaya officially confirmed the breakup, a recent incident may have confirmed the end of their relationship.
Who is Lara Lieto?
An Italian magazine, Chi, seemingly confirmed rumors of Jannik Sinner’s split from former girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya after the tennis star was spotted in Monte Carlo with Lara Lieto, where he’s currently training for his comeback. Under the guidance of coach Darren Cahill and his team, Sinner was seen preparing intensely.
Among the onlookers was Lieto, whose presence initially raised eyebrows. The biggest hint, however, came when she warmly embraced Sinner after his training session and the two were later seen leaving together, further fueling talk of a budding relationship.
Jannik Sinner’s rumoured girlfriend, Lara Lieto, was born in January 1994. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a degree in business administration, specializing in marketing and communications. Like Sinner’s ex-girlfriend, Lieto is also of Russian origin.
Later, she shifted her focus towards fashion and glamour and had a successful modelling career. Over the years, she has appeared on the covers of prestigious magazines such as Vogue and L’Officiel.
The 31-year-old Russian model previously drew media attention for her long-term relationship with two-time Oscar winner Adrien Brody. The couple began dating in 2012 and remained together until they split in 2018. However, her relationship with Jannik Sinner remains unconfirmed at this time.
