Jannik Sinner lifts Wimbledon 2025 title to become a four-time Grand Slam winner.

The two-year title reign of Carlos Alcaraz came to a dramatic end, as World No. 1 Jannik Sinner came back from a set down to stun the defending champion and lift his maiden Wimbledon title. The Italian shattered multiple records in the process and is now among the legends of the game.

Most importantly for Sinner, he has finally managed to beat Alcaraz in a Grand Slam final, a much-needed personal triumph for him after the heartbreak in Paris. The flying high Spaniard’s campaign was halted, courtesy some incredible serving and remarkable footwork and court coverage from the top seed.

“It is so special, I’m living my dream. I had a very tough loss in Paris, but at the end of the day it doesn’t matter how you win or lose – you just have to understand what you did wrong,” Sinner said during his on-court speech.

“We accepted the loss, kept working and that’s why I’m holding this trophy”, added the 23-year-old. Both finalists showed great respect and admiration, pushing each other to new heights on court.

Wimbledon 2025 turned out to be one of the most thrilling Grand Slams in recent memory, marked by a flurry of early upsets that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

Despite the chaos in the opening rounds, the final four were truly the most deserving contenders, culminating in the crowning of a brand-new champion and a memorable chapter in tennis history.
