Swiatek stormed back into top-3 of WTA rankings while Anisimova achieved career-best position.

Iga Swiatek defied all odds to complete one of the most flawless campaigns in Wimbledon history, as she double bagelled Amanda Anisimova to lift her maiden Wimbledon title. She dropped just 35 games on her path to victory, the least for any SW19 winner in Open Era history.

Swiatek deserves to be at the top, and after a slight blip during the clay season that saw her drop to #8 in the rankings, the Pole is back where she belongs—in the top 3 of WTA rankings. Finalist Amanda Anisimova reaped rewards for her Grand Slam final debut, marking a top-10 debut as she earned 1297 points.

Aryna Sabalenka missed the entire 2024 Wimbledon, and hence made huge gains with her semi-final finish, to bolster her reign at the top. Coco Gauff stays at #2, despite her opening round defeat which saw her lose 230 points.

Mirra Andreeva climbed to the fifth spot with 420 points added to her tally for reaching the semi-finals in London for the first time.

Last year’s runner-up Jasmine Paolini witnessed a sharp fall to #9, having lost her second round. Elena Rybakina’s poor season continued with a third-round defeat, dropping to #13.

However, the worst fall was suffered by reigning champion Barbora Krejcikova, who had to defend all 2000 points, but her poor physical fitness let her down, as she crashed out of the third round and slipped to #83.
