Carlos Alcaraz made his ATP main-draw debut in February 2020 at the Rio Open at just 16 years old. In a marathon three-hour and 37-minute match, he defeated world No. 41 Albert Ramos Viñolas, becoming the first player born in 2003 to win an ATP Tour match.
Before this, the Spaniard had already made waves on the junior circuit and in Challenger tournaments with wins over top talents like Jannik Sinner.
4. Ryan Harrison – 15 years, 11 months (2008 Houston)
In 2008, Ryan Harrison became the 10th youngest ATP main-draw match winner at 15 years, 11 months, upsetting world No. 95 Pablo Cuevas in Houston. A top American junior, he had reached the Australian Open boys’ semifinals and held a junior world ranking inside the top 10. Ranked outside the top 1,000, Harrison entered as a qualifier and impressed with his fearless performance against far more experienced competition.
3. Rafael Nadal – 15 years, 10 months (2002 Mallorca)

Before he would become “The King of Clay,” Rafael Nadal tasted his first ATP success at the 2002 Mallorca Open, defeating world No. 81 Ramón Delgado at just 15 years, 10 months old. Ranked No. 762, he showcased early brilliance on home clay.
Already a junior prodigy with Les Petits As and Spanish titles, Nadal went on to win nine ITF Futures events and reach the Wimbledon junior semifinals, ending the year ranked No. 200 in the world.
2. Tommy Ho – 15 years, 8 months (1992 Genoa)
Tommy Ho defeated Matt Anger at the 1988 Rye Brook Open, becoming the second youngest ATP main-draw winner. A decorated junior, Ho had already won 17 U.S. national titles and two Orange Bowl trophies. His early pro breakthrough, combined with his stellar junior résumé, marked him as one of the most promising young Americans of his generation.
