WWE SmackDown Preview: matches, timings, and telecast details for Night One of WWE Draft 2023

The evening's card has some tasty match-ups to look forward to.

The highly anticipated WWE Draft for 2023 is set to begin on the first night of a future SmackDown broadcast. Fans have been anticipating this event, which will determine which celebrities will be assigned to which sponsors. The WWE has stated that the draft will take place during RAW on May 1, 2023.

April 28, 2023, the SmackDown program will be one to remember since it will kick off the 2023 WWE draft and feature the undisputed Tag Team Championship WrestleMania rematch.  The Usos will defend their undisputed WWE Tag Team championships against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Zelina Vega will compete against Sonya Deville in a single battle. All of this will take place in the run-up to the Backlash 2023 PPV.

Zelina Vega vs Sonya Deville

This Friday, Zelina Vega will face Sonya Deville, allowing her to prepare for her upcoming match against SmackDown Women's Champion Rhea Ripley. To score a huge victory before her championship challenge at WWE Backlash in Puerto Rico, Vega must be vigilant and focused throughout the match against the clever Deville.
