This is one of the most powerful pro wrestling stables of all time

The Bloodline is one professional wrestling stable that is embracing the valour of the plot. The Bloodline was one of the most powerful pro wrestling stables of all time. The Tribal Chief-Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Solo Sikoa led the way. Sami Zayn was also a member of the stable, but owing to escalating tensions, he left the Bloodline. Learn everything there is to know about the Bloodline. So, let's take a look at how the Bloodline came to be and how it all came down crashing on "The Tribal Chief".

The formation of The Bloodline

The stable was initially created in July 2021, following a dispute between Reigns and Jey in late 2020. Jimmy joined in after recovering from an injury. Reigns is branded as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion since he now was both the WWE and Universal championships in his fourth and second straight reigns, respectively—the longest reign of either championship.

He chose the monikers "Tribal Chief" and "Head of the Table" to reflect his status as family head. The Usos were billed as the "Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions" until they were dethroned at WrestleMania 39. The Usos, held the Raw and SmackDown tag team championships at the same time in their third and fifth reigns, the latter having the longest reign and the longest male tag team title reign in WWE history.

Feud between Jey Uso and Roman Reigns

Jey won by pinning Riddle, allowing him to fight for his first singles crown. In the bout, Jey was beaten by Reigns through technical knockout, and Jimmy came over to throw a white towel on him. Jey was given another championship shot against Reigns in a Hell in a Cell "I Quit" match at the same event, with the extra caveat that if he lost, he would have to heed Reigns' requests or face banishment from their family. Jey lost the match again after Reigns assaulted the wounded Jimmy and made Jey declare "I quit" to defend his brother.

Jey Uso beat Daniel Bryan on October 30, forming an alliance with Roman Reigns and becoming Reigns' right-hand man. He was known as "Main Event Jey Uso" and had remarkable singles accomplishments. Jey challenged for a Universal Championship shot at Elimination Chamber on February 21, 2021, but was defeated by Daniel Bryan. Jey won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on April 9. Jimmy Uso returned, expressing his displeasure with the alliance. Tensions between Reigns, Jimmy, and Jey grew. Jey went away briefly, but Jimmy gave Reigns his assistance. The Usos and Reigns finally reunited on July 9, becoming "The Bloodline."

Induction of Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa

WWE Bloodline
On the September 23, 2022 edition of SmackDown, Zayn was confirmed as a Bloodline member

Sami Zayn was the first and the only Samoan to get his way into The Bloodline. Zayn's devotion towards 'The Tribal Chief' was one of the reasons he got into The Bloodline. On the September 23, 2022 edition of SmackDown, Reigns forced Zayn to take off his Bloodline t-shirt. Initially devastated, Zayn was then gifted with a t-shirt that said "Honorary Uce," confirming his status as a Bloodline member.

Then entered Solo Sikoa in the picture. On September 3, at Clash in the Castle, Reigns beat Drew McIntyre to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, thanks to interference from Solo Sikoa, Reigns' younger cousin and Usos' younger brother, who became the newest member of The Bloodline.

How the end of The Bloodline started?

It all started at Survivor Series War Games, 2022. In a WarGames match, The Bloodline beat The Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre, and Kevin Owens, with Sami cementing his place in the gang in Jey's eyes. After losing to Owens and a resurrected John Cena on the last SmackDown of 2022, The Bloodline began a feud with Owens, who would later challenge Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble.

Sami Zayn's Trial

On January 23, 2023, Reigns placed Sami Zayn on trial in "Tribal Court," accusing Zayn of scheming against the Bloodline and covertly working with his old "frenemy" Kevin Owens. Paul Heyman served as prosecutor, displaying multiple films of alleged Bloodline betrayal. Zayn responded by claiming that he didn't have a defence because of how he was seen. Outraged by this revelation, Reigns orders Sikoa to assault him, but Jey Uso rushes to rescue Zayn, providing an impassioned defence of The Honorary Uce, causing Reigns to pronounce Zayn innocent, albeit reluctantly.

The Bloodline Civil War

Sami Zayn's Betrayal

Reigns defended the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Kevin Owens at the 2023 Royal Rumble. Following the bout, the Bloodline ambushed Owens in the ring, handcuffing him to the ropes and assaulting him. When Reigns requested Zayn to attack him, Zayn whacked him with the chair, changing his face for the first time since 2017.

The Bloodline then thrashed Zayn. Meanwhile, Jey stood there disgusted and exited the scene. After the referee was knocked unconscious, Jimmy emerged at Elimination Chamber and attempted to aid Reigns in his title defence against Zayn, but Jey entered the ring and blocked Reigns from assaulting Zayn with a steel chair. Soon after, Zayn stands up and attempts to spear Reigns, but unintentionally spears Jey, which helps Reigns to capitalise and retain his title.

The Usos losing the Tag-Team Championship

The Usos lost the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships against Owens and Zayn on Night 1 of WrestleMania 39. On the April 28 edition of SmackDown, Reigns and Sikoa (together with Heyman) were selected as the first choice in the 2023 WWE Draught. Later that night, The Usos lost their rematch against Owens and Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. In a six-man tag team match at Backlash, The Usos and Sikoa defeated Riddle, Owens, and Zayn. However, emotions between the gang heightened during the bout, and it reached a boiling point when Sikoa nearly hit Jey with the Samoan Spike.

The begining towards the end

Owens and Zayn hosted the KO Show with Reigns and Sikoa as guests on the May 26 edition of SmackDown, but The Usos made a cameo against Reigns' desires. Reigns entered the arena and assaulted Jimmy before facing Owens and Zayn after Jimmy called himself the "Tribal Chief" after being mocked as Reigns' errand boys. After The Bloodline thrashed the two, Jimmy refused to hand over the belts to Reigns before they were stolen by Jey, severely dividing The Bloodline.

On May 27, the Usos interfered in the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match between Reigns and Sikoa and Owens and Zayn at the Night of Champions event in Saudi Arabia. During the bout, Jimmy betrayed Reigns when the latter degraded both him and Jey by inadvertently striking Sikoa while aiming for Zayn. Despite Jey's reservations, The Usos abandoned Reigns and walked away, allowing Owens and Zayn to retain the belts. On the next week of SmackDown, while celebrating Reigns' 1,000th day as champion, Sikoa attacked Jimmy and allied with Reigns, who formally expelled Jimmy from the group.

The next week, Heyman insisted that Jey reaffirm his allegiance to Reigns and set up a WWE United States Championship match against Austin Theory to encourage him, but Jimmy unwittingly cost him the match. On the June 16 edition of SmackDown, Jey chose to side with Jimmy and quit The Bloodline by super-kicking Reigns and assisting Jimmy in fending off Sikoa, therefore terminating The Usos' affiliation with Reigns. This resulted in the announcement of the "Bloodline Civil War" match at Money in the Bank, pitting Reigns and Sikoa against The Usos.
