WrestleMania and SummerSlam are two of the biggest wrestling pay-per-views of WWE. The promotion makes everything to make these events massive success and memorable. They book high profile matches, surprise returns, debuts, massive twists, turns and so on.
They end most of the feuds and start whole new rivalries from the following night. Not only is the event more exciting, but also the night after the event. WWE plans multiple returns and debuts the following night after the event. Raw after WrestleMania is a different story, focusing on SummerSlam. Here are the top five best Raw after SummerSlam returns of all time in history.
5. Edge (2022)
Edge started The Judgement Day stable in 2022 with Damien Priest and Rhea Ripley. The trio forced Finn Balor, Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio to join the stable but they regretted it. When Balor joined the stable, Edge was brutally punished and kicked out of the stable by claiming him as a weak link.
After brutal betrayal by Priest, Rhea and Balor, Edge returned to Raw after two months on the Raw after SummerSlam with his original “Metalingus” theme turning face once again. This created a huge pop among the WWE Universe. He then teased the ending of the Judgement Day, which he created.

4. John Cena (2017)
After defeating The Miz and Maryse in the Mixed Tag Team Match by teaming up with Nikki Bella, Cena proposed to Nikki on the grandest stage of them all, in front of the massive crowd. Nikki accepted the marriage proposal, after which Cena was not seen in WWE for months. During the superstar shakeup Cena was announced as a free agent.
On August 24, 2017 at the Raw after SummerSlam, John Cena returned for the first time in over a year on Raw. He was introduced by Kurt Angle, where WWE went for a mixed chant, Cena confronted Roman, they got interfered by The Miz and Samoan Joe. It ended in a brawl, and resulted in a tag team match at the main event. Where Roman Reigns and John Cena teamed together to defeat Samoa Joe and The Miz.
3. Sting (2015)
After losing his first match in WWE against Triple H at WrestleMania 31, Sting was nowhere seen. He shook hands with Triple H after the match with D Generation X and New World Order on their corner. On August 24, 2015 at the Raw after SummerSlam, Seth Rollins, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were in the ring to unveil the statue of Seth Rollins to celebrate his dual championship reign.
While unveiling, instead of the Statue, Sting with the baseball stick appeared. Sting attacked Seth Rollins by sending him out of the ring by raising the WWE World Heavyweight Championship over his head to challenge Rollins for a title shot.

2. Dudley Boyz (2015)
On August 24, 2015 at the Raw after SummerSlam, The New Day successfully defended their WWE Tag Team Championships against The Lucha Dragons. While they were having their celebration, Pyros cracked on the entrance way and the Dudley Boyz theme hit.
The crowd went crazy by the arrival of Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley. They re-established themselves as the greatest tag team once again and marched their way to the ring to attack The New Day in their signature style. “D-von get the tables” chants hit hard, they hit Xavier over the table for a “3D”.
1. Sasha Banks (2019)
On August 12, 2019, at Raw after SummerSlam, Natalya was in the ring with a broken arm, expressing her emotions about her father’s one year death anniversary. While Natalya was in tears, Sasha Banks’ music hit and returned for the first time since WrestleMania 35.
On the arrival of the Boss, the crowd erupted and went for a huge pop, she consoled Natalya and turned heel the next moment by hitting Naty with the elbow. She revealed her new “Blue” hair, which signifies her heel turn. She continued the brutal attack on Naty’s broken arm. Becky Lynch came for Natalya’s aid, but got brutal blows on the back with a steel chair.
