The September 15, 2023 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown will be aired live from Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado. This is the first SmackDown under TKO takeover and it carries lots of expectations. Here is a complete preview on match cards, predictions and telecast details of this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Match Cards & Predictions

“The Grayson Waller Effect” with John Cena

Last week on SmackDown, WWE confirmed that John Cena will be the Special Guest Host for the Grayson Waller Effect. This episode also marks the full time run of Cena for the next seven weeks straight. As per speculations, John Cena might pick up his feud and opponent for Fastlane at the segment. Grayson Waller and Austin Theory will attack John Cena during the segment and Cena might get help from a superstar, most probably Cody Rhodes or Rey Mysterio.

LA Knight vs The Miz

LA Knight and The Miz will go one-on-one in a rematch after Miz’s loss at Payback. As per speculations, LA Knight might lose in a controversial way resulting in a third match at Fastlane. The Miz might have the upper hand in the match for building the feud and Knight might challenge Miz for the third match after the loss.

The Judgment Day will be on SmackDown

Last week on SmackDown, The Judgment Day came and delivered a statement that they came to rule SmackDown on The Bloodlines absence. However, Bobby Lashley and Street Profits confronted them and said they are the one who is in control of SmackDown. Judgment Day later attacked AJ Styles and helped Solo Sikoa to hit Samoan Spike on AJ Styles. With them involved in all the business of SmackDown, they might show up this week too. The Judgment might pick up a feud with The O.C. following the attack of AJ Styles last week.
