"Hopefully, one day I'm gonna get back to India": WWE legend The Undertaker

The Undertaker is one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time with a monumental career of over three decades in the WWE. The Phenom had everything that a wrestler could ever dream off in his career. He is one of the most popular wrestlers with a great fan base across the world, despite being a horrifying and dark character in the ring. He has a great fan base in India especially among people who were born during late 90’s and early 2000’s. Taker in a recent interview revealed that he is hoping to return to India to meet his fans before completely getting out of the wrestling business.

The Undertaker desires to visit India

‘The Phenom’ Undertaker recently appeared on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge for a brief conversation with senior journalist Bill Apter. During the interview, Bill Apter presented the Bill Apter Legacy Award to The Undertaker, which he accepted and became the first recipient of the award. The award was given to celebrate Bill Apter’s 51 years journalism career of Apter in the wrestling business. After receiving the award, The Undertaker and Bill Apter had a brief chit chat, where Undertaker discussed a few topics.

After receiving the award from Bill Apter, Undertaker thanked him and Sportskeeda for the award and spoke about his desire to return to India, before he winds up completely from the wrestling business.

Taker said, “Hopefully, one day I'm gonna get back to India. Uh, I know I have a huge, uh, fanbase over there and I will get back there before it's all said and done.”

During the later part of the interview Taker was asked about his dream opponent, which he never faced. To which Taker said that his dream opponent was Andre The Giant, against whom he never fought, but always desired.

Undertaker said,

“The match that I wish I had that I never got the opportunity to work with Andre," The Undertaker said. "That was always a dream. No, never [faced Andre the Giant]. Andre's health was really, when I got here, his health was already in decline, and his back and his knees and everything.”
