Major update on Roman Reigns WWE Elimination Chamber status
The Rock returned to WWE at Raw Day 1 and dropped a major tease of potentially feuding with Roman Reigns. It became a debate on where the suitable venue would be as Cody Rhodes is already engaged in the storyline with Roman.
There were a lot of speculations and it was believed that the potential match between Rock and Reigns at Elimination could be justified as it is a big stadium show across the world and the Australian government were already in bid to bring Rock to Perth. As the confusion and speculations circulate around the internet, a backstage update reveals the possible location for the match.
The Rock vs Roman Reigns at WrestleMania?
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that the Roman Reigns vs The Rock match could take place at WrestleMania and it could possibly be a Triple Threat match involving Cody Rhodes instead of Elimination Chamber, which Meltzer previously reported. As far as Elimination Chamber is concerned, Reigns is not confirmed for the show yet and the previous Australian rumors of the match were not accurate. Since Reigns is not in the Australian plans and as his dates are not scheduled for the show, the venue could probably change.
Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Newsletter said,
“Regarding the Reigns vs. Rock match, while I presume it’s WrestleMania (and could possibly be a three-way with Rhodes but I don’t think that will come out until many weeks from now), what we did have confirmed is the Australia rumors aren’t accurate. Reigns is not even scheduled for the show. He’s never been advertised and there are no plans for him for that date right now.”
Do you think the Triple Threat match could be a great idea for the storlines? Or will two matches for Roman Reigns on both the nights of WrestleMania be greater? Comment your thoughts.
