The March 28 episode of SmackDown emanated from the iconic O2 Arena!

The final episode of Friday Night SmackDown on the Road to WrestleMania Europe tour emanated live from the iconic O2 Arena in London, England. The promotion delivered a colossal card featuring a triple-threat contract signing between Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins.

The three stars will battle in a triple-threat match at the WrestleMania 41 PLE, during the contract it was also announced that CM Punk will headline WrestleMania 41 alongside Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins. The show ended as Punk revealed that the WrestleMania main event was not the favor he is owed.

Furthermore, United States Champion LA Knight defended his title against Braun Strowman while the WWE Tag Team Champions, the Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) defended the tag titles against the number one contenders, Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson & Elton Prince).

The United States title match ended in a DQ, with Knight retaining the title after Jacob Fatu ambushed both Knight and Strowman. Meanwhile, the Street Profits defeated Pretty Deadly to retain their tag titles. Charlotte Flair continued her win streak as she defeated Michin, who was attacked by Naomi before the match.

A backstage confrontation led to an impromptu clash between Jimmy Uso and The Miz where Jimmy picked up the win and cut a promo for his upcoming clash against the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther on next week’s Raw.

Additionally, Drew McIntyre defeated Randy Orton, with Kevin Owens making an appearance during the match to distract Orton. Owens attempted to attack Orton after the match, but Orton fought back and went for the Punt kick again, though KO quickly escaped.

The Secret Hervice (Piper Niven & Alba Fyre) in their debut defeated Kayden Carter & Katana Chance, while Damian Priest decimated Drew McIntyre backstage as he landed a South of Heaven on McIntyre putting him right through a car’s windshield, shattering it in the process.

During the 03/28 show, the promotion announced matches and segments for the next week’s show which will air live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. This will be the first show back from the European tour.

Following this week’s ambush on B-Fab, who was accompanying Michin during her entrance ahead of her clash with Charlotte Flair, B-Fab will now face Naomi in a singles match next week. A last-man-standing match is also set for the show where Jacob Fatu and Braun Strowman will collide once again after their encounter on this week’s show where Fatu ambushed Strowman during the US title match.

The show will also feature the highly-anticipated debut of Rey Fenix. A third vignette aired on 03/28 SmackDown, giving fans their first full look at the high-flying star. The segment highlighted his tattoos and showcased his in-ring agility, including walking on the ropes. The promo also revealed that he will be keeping his name.
