Has WWE canceled Women's World Title match for Wrestlepalooza 2025?

Iyo Sky and Stephanie Vaquer were set to sign the title contract on this week’s WWE Raw!
During the September 1 episode of Monday Night Raw, General Manager Adam Pearce addressed the future of the Women’s World title and announced that Iyo Sky and Stephanie Vaquer will battle for the vacant title at the upcoming Wrestlepalooza.
Pearce also revealed that Sky and Vaquer will meet in the ring on the September 8 show to sign the contract for the Women’s World Championship match, making it official for the September 20 clash in Indiana.
The Contract signing was canceled due to Stephanie Vauer’s absence

As announced, fans were eagerly waiting for the two stars to sign the contract and make the match official between the two for the vacant Women’s World title.
However, on the September 8 show, General Manager Pearce provided another update, which disappointed fans who started speculating if the title match was in jeopardy.
In a backstage segment during the show, Pearce informed Iyo Sky that Stephanie Vaquer was unable to make it to tonight’s show, so he was cancelling the contract signing. Sky asked if her title match was still on. Pearce replied that he didn’t see why Vaquer couldn’t compete and left.
Is the vacant World title match for Wrestlepalooza cancelled?
As of writing this article, there is no official update on the vacant Women’s World title clash between Sky and Vaquer. WWE has also not provided any update on Vaquer and her absence on tonight’s show.
Meanwhile, fans are hoping it to just be a one off issue of Vaquer not making it in time for the show. They will now have to wait for any official confirmation from WWE or the next week’s go-home show of Monday Night Raw to get a clear picture.
