WWE still advertising for Saudi Arabia as Crown Jewel 2026 host.
The Stamford-based promotion is facing a major dilemma ahead of the mega PLE, with growing security concerns in Saudi Arabia raising questions about whether the November 7 premium live event will go ahead as planned.
Latest reports highlight that TKO is proceeding with the Saudi Arabia plan and work is already in progress. While there are huge financial profits for the firm with the event taking place in the Kingdom, the cancellation would also attract a massive fall in its quarterly profits.

How much could TKO lose if Crown Jewel 2026 is canceled?

In a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer radio, Dave Meltzer says that TKO may lose between $70 million to $90 million in its quarterly profit if three events which were scheduled to happen in the region—one WWE and two UFC events are cancelled. Meltzer mentioned this would be about a quarter of the company’s profit per quarter.
The loss of $70 million to $90 million does not refer to only one event. This refers to the collective loss of profit due to three events. This loss shows how big the stakes are for TKO when it is deciding whether or not to hold its scheduled shows.
This issue has implications beyond the individual events. the Stamord-based promotion needs to consider the safety of its performers and employees while at the same time considering its business obligations to Saudi Arabia.
Could WrestleMania 43 also be affected?
The other key point to remember is that WrestleMania 43 will be held in Saudi Arabia in 2027. This would be the first time that the flagship event of WWE will be organized outside North America.
It must be noted here that the present news talks about the losses only in case of the next three shows, and it doesn’t mean that TKO will lose all the money in case the shows are rescheduled.
As of now, the news is not confirmed by either parties regarding the cancellation of Crown Jewel 2026. They continue to state Riyadh as the location for the same, but that depends on the changing security situation.

Reporter Dave Meltzer estimated that TKO’s quarterly profit could be reduced by $70 million to $90 million if the three events—one PLE show and two UFC shows—were canceled. This is a combined estimate, not the projected loss from Crown Jewel alone.
