Injury update on Logan Paul & Sol Ruca after WWE Saturday Night's Main Event

Logan Paul & Austin Theory retain the title at the second SNME in 2026.
The Vision’s Logan Paul and Austin Theory defended the World Tag Team titles against the Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) at the May 23 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event last week in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Paul and Theory retained the title, thanks to their stablemates, Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker, coming to their rescue. The interference helped the reigning champions, who sneaked their way into another victory to retain the titles.
After the win, a new report from Rope Break has revealed that multiple talents suffered injuries during the event last Saturday, and Logan Paul is among the injured stars.
The report adds that Logan suffered a leg injury during the Tag title defense against the Street Profits. That said, the report did not provide details regarding the extent or specifics of Logan Paul’s leg injury, with further information still pending.
Sol Ruca’s title opportunity could be in limbo after SNME
The outlet also reports that Sol Ruca is among the injured talents. Ruca is also said to be banged up after the non-title match against WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch. The exact nature of Ruca’s injury has not been disclosed.
Ruca defeated Becky via disqualification, as when she was going for the sol snatcher, Becky pulled in referee Jessika Carr, who, infuriated by the ordeal, called off the match via DQ and gave Ruca the win. When Ruca was checking on the referee, Becky attacked her with the title and delivered two back-to-back manhandle slams.
The finish and the attack afterwards by Becky infuriated SmackDown GM Nick Aldis, who passed on GM Adam Pearce’s message to Becky. The message that Lynch will now have to defend her Women’s Intercontinental title against Ruca at the Clash in Italy.
That said, the news of Ruca’s injury has put the title opportunity in limbo, as the injury layoff would mean Ruca missing out on a title opportunity at a major international PLE against Becky Lynch.
As of now, the match is still on the card, and WWE has not confirmed the reported injury. The first PLE in Italy is set for May 31 at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Piedmont Region, Italy.
