Jinder Mahal, Veer Mahaan, Sanga & multiple stars released from WWE

WWE has been keen on hiring and firing talents recently and has made a lot of changes inside the company. In 2023, we witnessed a number of wrestlers being released as free agents and signed some of the hottest free agents from the rival promotions.
With just a week away from the 2024 Draft, it is reported that the company has released multiple talents including a former World Champion.
Jinder Mahal confirms WWE release
PWInsider first revealed that the former World Champion Jinder Mahal has been released from WWE. Following that, ‘The Modern Day Maharaja’ has confirmed the news on Twitter saying, “I Quit, Maharaja out 💰”. Mahal also updated his X/Twitter Bio saying “🔥 Free Agent – 90 Days” stating that he is currently under the 90 days non-compete clauses by the company and would be a Free Agent after that.

Veer Mahaan confirms WWE release
Following that Veer Mahaan also announced his departure from the company saying, “When it comes to the honor and respect of Indians, sacrifice comes first. Good Bye WWE 🙏 Jai Jai Shri Ram 🙇♂️🚩”
Fightful also reported that Sangha of Indus Sher has also been released from the company including Xia Li and Xyon Quinn.
Xia Li confirms release
Xia Li also confirmed her departure on X writing a long message thanking the officials, colleagues, coaches and staff for having her in the company.
Xia Li on X said,
“It has been over seven years since I joined WWE, and as the first female Chinese superstar, I feel incredibly proud! I am sincerely grateful to WWE and HHH for welcoming me into this big family. During this valuable time, I have not only grown tremendously but also learned countless invaluable experiences. Thank you for your trust and the opportunities you have given me to break barriers and set an example.“
“A special thank you to all the coaches, colleagues, and staff who have helped me along the way. Your support and assistance have made me feel at home in a foreign land.“
“I also want to thank all the WWE fans! Your cheers not only motivate me but also make me feel endless love and support. Your backing is my strength.“
