Tonight’s episode of WWE Raw will emanate from Houston!

As SummerSlam 2025 inches closer, WWE is announcing more matches while building hype towards the PLE. The same can happen tonight on Monday Night Raw, as multiple storylines could end up in a clash at the MetLife Stadium.

Tonight’s episode of the Red brand is set to air live from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, USA. The promotion has announced multiple matches and segments for this week’s show. Some of these might end up in a match announced for ‘The Biggest Party of the Summer’.

Ahead of tonight’s show of WWE Raw, let us take a look at the top four matches that WWE could announce for SummerSlam.

4. Sheamus vs Rusev

The two former friends, Rusev and Sheamus, have been locked in a fierce feud since the Celtic Warrior confronted Rusev for bullying Otis and Akira Tozawa. The two have clashed last month with Rusev emerging victorious, albeit using dirty tactics.

The former friends will meet once again in a rematch tonight. The bad blood between the two might spill over, leading to another clash at the biggest party of the summer.

3. World Tag Team titles

The New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) are set to battle the Creed Brothers (Brutus & Julius Creed) and the LWO in a triple-threat match. The winner of the clash will be awarded a title shot, likely at the upcoming PLE.

While the New Day wants to escape the ‘period of mourning’ and recapture the titles, LWO and Creed Brothers are looking to make history and capture the title for the first time. The promotion might announce that the winner of this clash will battle the Judgment Day (Finn Balor & JD McDonagh) for the title next month.

2. Intercontinental title

Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio was set to defend the title against AJ Styles last month at Night of Champions. However, the match was cancelled due to Mysterio’s rib injury, and Styles was guaranteed the title shot as soon as Dominik is cleared.

During last week’s show, Mysterio’s athleticism in helping Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez win, despite his supposed injury, has left General Manager Adam Pearce suspicious as Mysterio is set to go under another evaluation by WWE doctors tonight. If Mysterio is cleared, Pearce will likely make the match between the two official for SummerSlam.

1. Roman Reigns & Jey Uso vs Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker (Tag Team match)

During the closing moments of last week’s show, Roman Reigns made his return to aid CM Punk and Jey Uso, who were being battered by Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. According to reports, the Seth Rollins injury has forced WWE to change multiple ongoing storylines.

One of which would likely be a tag team match between the team of Reigns and Jey Uso, who will battle the team of Breakker and Reed. There is a possibility of Reigns battling Breakker in a singles match at the PLE. Nevertheless, the promotion will likely announce a match featuring the OTC tonight.
