New matches confirmed for WrestleMania 41 on WWE RAW (April 7, 2025)

The match card for the 41st edition of the PLE is absolutely stacked!

As the WrestleMania 41 PLE inches closer the match card for the ‘Grandest stage’ is taking shape with what was already a stacked card with top stars, WWE has added three new matches for the PLE during the April 07 episode of Monday Night Raw.

Apart from the cancellation of Randy Orton vs Kevin Owens, the card has multiple title clashes including the final Mania match of John Cena who will battle the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes with the hopes of breaking the tie with Ric Flair and capturing his 17th World title.

Ahead of the April 7 episode, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce dropped a bombshell announcement that Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker will defend the title at the grandest stage in a fatal-four-way match featuring Penta, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio.

Fans already got a preview of the match on the show as Breakker appeared after Penta defeated Dominik in a singles match but was attacked by Carlito and Dominik after the match. The IC Champion flatlined everyone with vicious spears but himself fell prey to Finn Balor, who managed to escape a spear from Breakker.

Furthermore, as promised Pearce addressed the Women’s World Championship saga in the opening moments of the show and announced a triple-threat match where Iyo Sky will defend the title against Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley.

Additionally, Rey Mysterio is also set to battle the newest addition to the Raw roster, El Grande Americano at WrestleMania. Mysterio himself asked for the match from the Raw GM after he was headbutted by Americano when trying to intervene during the six-man tag match.

The Creed Brothers (Brutus & Julius Creed) & El Grande Americano battled LWO (Dragon Lee, Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro). Ivy Nile and Mysterio were ringside during the match but Rey intervened when Nile handed Americano a piece of metal which he put in his mask.

Americano not only headbutted Mysterio while the metal was in his mask but also then landed a finishing sequence on Dragon Lee to win the six-man tag match. Mysterio now wants to teach Americano a lesson for disrespecting the Lucha libre tradition and posing as a fraud.
