The Visionary will battle Cody Rhodes this Saturday!

World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is set to battle Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes in a ‘Champion vs Champion’ match for the WWE men’s Crown Jewel Championship at the namesake PLE this Saturday in Australia.

The seventh edition of the Crown Jewel PLE will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia, Australia.

Cody Rhodes is undefeated against Seth Rollins.

Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins have battled each other on 22 separate occasions, going back to 2010 in WWE NXT. However, when it comes to broadcast shows and PLEs, they have only locked horns three times, that too after Rhodes’ return to WWE in 2022.

What stands out in these instances is that Rollins has been unable to pin Rhodes, not just in the three times they have fought on television, but also in the total 22 clashes. Rhodes even highlighted the same in their promo battles ahead of the PLE.

This record has left Rollins wondering if he can actually beat Rhodes this time around, especially since there’s more at stake. Rollins would not only be humiliated on the world stage but also lose the chance to hold the prestigious Crown Jewel title, and he might also lose control of The Vision and his Oracle.

Paul Heyman believes the consequences of the loss would even affect him

During the October 6, 2025, episode of WWE Raw, in a backstage segment involving Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins asked what would happen if he didn’t win Saturday. Heyman initially suggested that it’s impossible and that Rollins would, of course, beat Rhodes.

However, Rollins pressed on as Heyman replied that if he loses to Cody, he would lose the locker room, he would lose the faith of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, as his Vision is the one that leads them into the future.

Heyman continued stating that Rollins would throw away what they’ve built since WrestleMania, and he will be nothing more than a de facto secondary Champion. Heyman asked Rollins not to lose, and was going to leave when Rollins pulled him back and pointed out that he had left himself out of the equation.

The Oracle again tries to change the question, but Rollins stays on course, which leads Heyman to state that if he loses to Cody at some point, he would ask himself why he picked him over Roman Reigns. “If you lose…I have to ask myself why I picked you over Roman Reigns.”

Notably, Heyman betrayed Roman Reigns during the triple threat match at WrestleMania 41 involving CM Punk and sided with Rollins to create a new faction known as The Vision.
