Top five reasons why Tiffany Stratton should cash in MITB at WWE Bad Blood 2024

Tiffany Stratton might soon cash in her WWE MITB
Tiffany Stratton won her Money in the Bank briefcase all the way back in July. She has held onto her customized pink briefcase ever since but hasn’t done much else.
Interestingly, WWE has made her Nia Jax’s only friend in the women’s locker room, who is the current WWE Women’s Champion.
However, the two friends don’t get along too well, considering how different they are and their areas of interest.
But their segments have been entertaining so far, especially the ones that involved Chelsea Green. She is comedy gold, and WWE really needs to give her a push.
However, as entertaining as the comedy segments were, things are getting serious now as Nia Jax will be facing Bayley next week at Bad Blood for the WWE Women’s Championship.
Nia Jax stated on this week’s SmackDown that if she ends up losing her championship, it will be because of Tiffany’s fault, and she will make her pay for it, indirectly blaming her for the loss they had the previous week against Naomi and Bayley, even though it was Nia who ate the pin. And even though Tiffany Stratton looked intimidated at first, by the time Nia left, she just looked pissed.
Many fans are therefore suggesting that WWE doesn’t need any more build to this and that Tiffany Stratton should cash in her briefcase at Bad Blood itself.
And looking at the Triple H way of booking things, I must say that it’s not likely that it will happen so soon, but at the same time, we will look at five reasons why it should, in fact, happen at Bad Blood.
It will create a shocking and memorable moment
With all due respect to Nia Jax and Bayley, I think we can all agree that not many are interested in watching that for the sake of how good of a wrestling match it will be. The only saving grace is the chance of a probable cash-in at Bad Blood.
While I am sure WWE will tease it, otherwise, there is no point in doing this match on a PLE, I believe that if they decide to pull the trigger already at Bad Blood, the crowning moment of Tiffany as the WWE Women’s Champion will be one of the most memorable aspects of the show.
And in a show that has a returning Roman Reigns and CM Punk and Drew McIntyre fighting inside Hell in a Cell, standing out as one of the most memorable moments is a lot.
Tiffany Stratton can finally turn babyface
While I understand that Tiffany Stratton is a great heel and the heel persona suits her more, it’s time for her to turn face. There are two reasons for this. One, she is extremely over among the fans. They love her no matter what she does. And secondly, if she cashes in on Nia Jax, that will kick-start a rivalry between them, and Nia can’t be a babyface in that rivalry for obvious reasons.
So, Tiffany will have to take the spot of the babyface, which I think will be a nice little change, and it will work wonders for her in the long term as fans absolutely adore her. LA Knight, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley previously got over as heels but have made great babyfaces, and we sincerely believe so will Tiffany.
There is not much to accomplish with Nia Jax as Champion
Nia Jax’s second run in the WWE has really been great. She has improved drastically on both the microphone and the ring. And she did deserve her moment at SummerSlam when she beat Bayley for the championship.
But ever since then, her title reign has been underwhelming, just like Bayley’s. At this point, the only thing of interest left in that reign is when will Tiffany cash in on her, and that’s not a good look for our champion.
Meanwhile, Tiffany has a beef with Bayley and Naomi and Chelsea Green. She even has beef with industry legend Trish Stratus, as she has previously called her out in a backstage segment. Also, Tiffany Stratton vs. a returning Charlotte Flair is a dream match that many want to see. So, I guess the person who has the most amount of interesting stories to tell should, in fact, be the WWE Women’s Champion.
Teasing the cash-in over and over again can get stale
While the concept of the Money in the Bank is unpredictable and fun, overdoing it too much can genuinely hurt the legitimacy of the superstar that holds it. WWE can’t fumble Tiffany Stratton as she is the face of the future of the women’s division.
I think WWE should have learned their lesson from Austin Theory’s Money in the Bank reign and therefore shouldn’t repeatedly tease cash-ins only for Tiffany to fail. Fans might get tired of it and lose interest in her completely.
So, if they do tease another cash-in at Bad Blood, it will be better if it ends with Tiffany actually successfully cashing in her briefcase on Nia Jax.
Tiffany Stratton deserves it
Lastly and most importantly, Tiffany Stratton deserves it. With only one year in the WWE main roster, she is not only one of the most over women in the WWE women’s division, but she is almost the only saving grace of the women’s division in SmackDown.
She has proven herself to be a very capable performer, and she has also shown that she can cut realistic promos. That already makes her more talented than 90% of the roster. We all know that she is the future, but considering how lackluster Bayley’s title reign has been and how Nia Jax’s title reign is more about Tiffany than Nia herself, I think it’s time that we say that the future is now.
Once Tiffany Stratton becomes WWE Women’s Champion, I think she will transform the women’s division with a lot of interesting storylines. She has great chemistry with the majority of the roster. Her rivalries with Nia Jax, Chelsea Green, and Bayley have lots of potential to be interesting.
And finally, we also have the likes of Trish Stratus and Charlotte Flair who will challenge her eventually. So, to build her as a formidable threat to such legends, she needs to kick-start her title reign as WWE Women’s Champion as soon as possible. Maybe that can be at Bad Blood.
