Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes to stay on WWE SmackDown after RAW moves to Netflix: Report

‘The OTC’ Roman Reigns was recently removed from the advertisement posters of WWE SmackDown released for next year. This led many fans to hypothesize theories regarding The OTC’s next move in the Stamford-based promotion.
Monday Night Raw is moving to Netflix from January 06, 2025, ahead of the event the WWE released a poster for SmackDown’s Road to WrestleMania 41, this poster surprised many fans as Roman Reigns wasn’t featured on the poster.
Fans were also speculating the move of the Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes to the Red brand. However, as per recent reports, both the stars will not be leaving the Blue brand.
The OTC is currently involved in a feud with his fellow Bloodline members, the OG Bloodline faction is scheduled to take on the rogue Bloodline led by Solo Sikoa at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024.

Roman Reign and Cody Rhodes will feature on the historic Raw debut episode
A recent report from PWInsider has clarified that Rhodes and Reigns will stay on Friday Night SmackDown. However, the report also confirmed that both the stars from the Blue brand will feature on the historic show Raw on Netflix.
“No. Roman & Cody are not leaving SmackDown to go to RAW. It is just that it’s all guns blazing, and they’re gonna do every single thing they can to make that Netflix debut in Los Angeles as important as possible.” The report stated.
This confirmation clarifies that the promotion is putting on one of the best shows for the historic premiere on the streaming giant. The special inclusion of champions, legends, and stars ensures that the event will be packed with iconic moments.
The historic Raw debut episode will air live from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California on January 6, 2025. The Stamford-based promotion is putting on an incredible show that will be remembered by fans.
Apart from the Undisputed Champion and the OTC, the launch show features big names from the promotion including, John Cena, CM Punk, and Bianca Belair.
Reigns has earlier commented on the move stating, that the move to Netflix changes the complete landscape of the company, and also said that he wanted the show to be more PG to reach wider audiences.
