Solo Sikoa will battle a mystery opponent next week on Raw.
General Manager Adam Pearce, during the November 10 episode of WWE Raw, announced two new matches in the ‘Last Time Is Now Tournament’ to decide John Cena’s final opponent at SNME in December. Two first-round matches already took place on the show, with two matches scheduled for this week’s SmackDown.
Sheamus and Rusev have advanced in the tournament, winning the first two rounds of matches this week on Raw. Next week on Raw, Je’Von Evans will face a returning Gunther, while Solo Sikoa is set to battle a mystery opponent whose identity Pearce chose not to reveal.
Let us now take a look at the top five stars who could be Solo Sikoa’s mystery opponent in the first round match of the Last Time Is Now Tournament next week on WWE Raw.
5. Karrion Kross

Karrion Kross, along with his wife and fellow WWE star Scarlett, left the promotion on August 10 following the expiry of their contracts, which were not renewed. However, Kross left with the promotion on a positive note and is currently making waves on the independent scene.
WWE could opt to offer both Kross and Scarlett new contracts to bring them back into the fold. Kross is already a fan-favorite, and his inclusion in the tournament would make things more interesting, not to mention his general inclusion on the Red brand’s roster would revive storylines and create new ones.
4. Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn has been absent from in-ring competition since his loss to Ilja Dragunov, where he dropped the United States title. Zayn has not been cleared for in-ring competition by the medical team. However, this could change next week and Zayn already has a storyline going on with Sikoa, after al,l Solo was the one who cost him the US title.
Zayn could be a top pick for the mystery man to battle LA Knight in ‘The Last Time is Now’ tournament next week.
3. Jacob Fatu

Jacob Fatu was written off TV last month due to an injury. However, reports later confirmed that he was recovering from a dental injury. Reports also suggested his involvement in the WarGames match, but current storylines points to a change in plans.
WWE could instead pit Fatu against Solo Sikoa in the first round match next week at MSG. Solo and Fatu have a long history together, which ended with Fatu turning on Solo and the latter punishing him for the same alongside his new MFT faction.
2. Joe Hendry

As mentioned by John Cena, the tournament will feature stars from outside the WWE. This detail has led to many speculations about a plethora of stars with whom Cena has a history with as well as new stars. Joe Hendry has become a staple on NXT television and is one of the biggest rising stars.
He has already battled Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41, the promotion could grant him another opportunity on the main roster, this time against Sikoa to become Cena’s final opponent.

1. Randy Orton

One of Cena’s most iconic rivals, Randy Orton, could also be the mystery opponent next week. Stars who have a history with Cena already are favorites to win in the tournament, solidified by the fact that Rusev and Sheamus won the first two matches this week.
Orton faced Cena for the last time for the Undisputed title at Backlash. However, he could have had one last opportunity to collide against his storied rival by entering the tournament to battle Sikoa last week.
How will John Cena’s final opponent be decided?
His opponent will be chosen through a 16-man tournament involving stars from Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and outside promotions.
Who will be Solo Sikoa’s opponent in the first round match next week?
GM Adam Pearce has chosen to withhold the name of Sikoa’s opponent next week on Raw, leading to major speculations among fans.
When and where will WWE Raw take place next week?
The November 17 episode of WWE Raw is set to air live from Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.
