CM Punk & Roman Reigns are advertised for this week’s show in Chicago!

The April 04 episode of Friday Night SmackDown will air live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The promotion has announced multiple matches and segments for this week’s show. ‘The Second City Saint’ CM Punk and Roman Reigns are advertised for the show in Punk’s hometown.

This will be the first show of the Blue brand in the United States, after the conclusion of the Road to WrestleMania Europe tour, which concluded on March 31 with the episode of Monday Night Raw. Rey Fenix is set to make his debut on this week’s show while Naomi and B-Fab will clash in a singles match.

A last-man-standing match is also set for the show where Braun Strowman and Jacob Fatu will lock horns to settle their differences after last week’s ambush. Here are the top five storylines that fans need to watch out for on the 04/04 episode of WWE SmackDown.

5. Jade Cargill – Naomi

On last week’s show, Michin and B-Fab were seen in a backstage segment where they met Jade Cargill and expressed sympathy for her ongoing feud with Naomi. However, Naomi didn’t take kindly to this and ambushed the two, targeting B-Fab for the most part, Naomi is now set to battle B-Fab in a singles match, and although she narrowly escaped Cargill last week, Jade will likely confront her this week during the match.

4. Randy Orton – Kevin Owens

Following a confrontation in the opening moments of the show, Randy Orton battled Drew McIntyre last week, however, Kevin Owens‘ appearance during the match distracted Orton who suffered defeat in the match. While Owens tried to capitalize and ambush Orton, the Viper had another plan as he looked to land the infamous punt kick. The feud will likely escalate this week ahead of their clash at the Mania PLE.

3. Last man standing match

Jacob Fatu and Braun Strowman are set to write another chapter in their ongoing feud as the two giants are set to battle in a last-man-standing match this week, following Fatu’s attack last week which crushed Strowman’s hopes of winning the United States title against LA Knight.

2. One-eyed Drew

After defeating Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre was leaving the arena when Damian Priest retaliated for the earlier attack and ambushed McIntyre who tired to fight back. Priest landed a vicious chokeslam atop a car, sending Drew crashing through the car’s windshield, the attack left McIntyre gasping for air and he also injured one of his eyes.

1. Mania triple-threat

Last week, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and CM Punk signed a contract for the triple-threat clash at WrestleMania 41. Paul Heyman also revealed that the Punk will be getting his dream WrestleMania main event as the triple-threat will be contested in the main event of the PLE. Both CM Punk and Roman Reigns are now advertised for the show in Punk’s hometown Chicago, this week.

Who will win the last-man-standing clash between the two giants? Will Randy Orton be able to get his hands on Kevin Owens ahead of the Mania PLE? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments section.
