Top three opponents for CM Punk at WWE WrestleMania 41

The Second City Saint failed to win the men’s Elimination Chamber match

“The Second City Saint” CM Punk entered the men’s Elimination Chamber match at the namesake PLE with the aim to win the match and realize his dream of headlining WrestleMania. However, due to a vicious stomp by his fierce rival Seth Rollins, who despite being eliminated, attacked Punk, he failed in his attempt to win the Chamber match.

However, Punk is still one of the biggest names who has a long list of feuds, he also recently called out The Rock and John Cena in a fiery promo. While there are multiple possible scenarios for the Second City Saint at the grandest stage, here we will take a look at the top three potential opponents for him at the 41st edition of WrestleMania.

3. Logan Paul

Since making his WWE return in January, Logan Paul has taunted CM Punk on every chance, he has interrupted Punk’s promo multiple times ahead of the Royal Rumble PLE as well as the Chamber PLE, he also took a cheap shot on the Chamber PLE go-home show of RAW. Paul also was the one who eliminated Punk in the men’s Rumble match and he has made sure to remind Punk every time.

The anger for Paul was on full display in the men’s Chamber match where Punk went right after Logan as soon as his pod opened. Punk also exacted his revenge as he eliminated Paul from the Chamber match after landing the GTS. Paul might challenge Punk to a clash at the grandest stage, after being humiliated in the Chamber match.

2. Roman Reigns

“The OTC” Roman Reigns has been absent from WWE programming since the Royal Rumble PLE. However, he is set to make his return on the Europe tour ahead of the Mania PLE. The storyline between the two goes back to the Survivor Series 2024 PLE and also involved “The Wiseman” Paul Heyman.

The mysterious favor that Heyman owes CM Punk after he helped Roman Reigns and the OG Bloodline in the WarGames match against Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline might be the reason for a potential clash between the two Titans.

1. Seth Rollins

“The Visionary” Seth Rollins is a no-brainer opponent for CM Punk, the animosity and deep hatred between the two stars is pretty evident. The two are currently set to battle in a steel cage match in the 03/10 episode of Monday Night Raw which will emanate from Madison Square Garden.

However, the two will likely not hash their beef after the match, their last clash in the Raw Netflix debut episode only made the animosity deeper. This rematch might be the same and Punk and Rollins might continue brawling and clashing with the mere sight of each other, which might lead to another match at the grandest stage in April.
