The 2026 edition of WrestleMania will emanate from New Orleans
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson made his return on the 02/24 episode of SmackDown and announced the official date and venue for the 42nd edition of WrestleMania.
The 42nd edition of WrestleMania will take place in the iconic Ceasers Superdome in New Orleans, Louisana. Following in the recent trend the 42nd edition of Mania is scheduled for a two-night event on April 11 and 12, 2026.
While the 41st edition of the grandest stage is ahead, here we will take a look at the predicted card for the 2026 edition of the WWE WrestleMania PLE, the list includes dream matches as well as matches that would be era-defining.
5. Ricky Saints vs Seth Rollins
The newest WWE signee Rick Saints, who left the AEW and has joined the developmental brand NXT is one who should be featured against Seth Rollins on the 2026 PLE. Saints name is a tribute to his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana where the WrestleMania 42 will take place.
While it is very early for a main roster debut, the talents that Saints possess a promotion ahead of the 2026 PLE will not be a problem and a clash with the Visionary will make for an amazing spectacle for fans.

4. Becky Lynch vs Lyra Valkyria
‘The Man’ Becky Lynch has been absent from the WWE programme since last July when her contract expired. Ahead of the Raw Netflix debut last month, she signed a new contract and appeared in promotional material which fueled speculations of her return which is yet to materialize.
However, when Lynch decides to make her return it will undoubtedly be one of the biggest returns of the year. A clash between Lynch and fellow Irish talent and current Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria will be a great addition to the Mania 2026 card, the two stars can repeat their clashes in NXT.

3. Penta vs Rey Mysterio
After leaving AEW, Penta joined WWE amid much fanfare and quickly became a sensation among WWE fans. The luchador is still undefeated in singles competition and puts on amazing performances every time he steps in the ring.
A showdown between Penta and WWE legend Rey Mysterio, one of the greatest luchadors of all time, would be an epic clash that lives up to the hype, symbolizing a true passing of the torch moment. Mysterio is currently out of action indefinitely due to an attack by the New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods).
2. Tiffany Stratton vs Rhea Ripley
Rhea Ripley is the current Women’s World Champion in her second title reign while Tiffany Stratton holds the WWE Women’s title which she captured in less than a year on the main roster. While Startton is now as big of a draw as Ripley, the way her stock is rising among fans come WrestleMania 42 she will be a major name.
Many fans have pointed out the similarities between the two and the two stars complement each other well. A clash between the two top stars in the women’s division would be a dream matchup for many fans and would fit well for the grandest stage.
1. Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton
The friendship between Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton is well-known among fans. The two stars have a long history in the WWE, their time together in Legacy and the history between their fathers would make for an amazing storyline between the two.
The promotion has already teased multiple times the heel turn of Orton as Randy has been caught staring at Rhodes’ title multiple times. When Orton makes his return, a feud between the two and a clash at WrestleMania 42 would be an exciting matchup.
