Trick Williams will defend his title against Ethan Page at NXT Halloween Havoc 2024

The NXT Champion Trick Williams will defend his title against ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page in a Devil’s Playground Match. The match is scheduled for the NXT Halloween Havoc 2024. The fifth edition of the Halloween Havoc show will be held on October 27, 2024, at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Unlike previous years, this will be a stand-alone premium live event on WWE programming, rather than a weekly TV special. The event will feature some of the top names in the NXT.

Williams and Page fought each other earlier for the NXT championship. In their last encounter, Williams defeated Page in the premier episode of WWE NXT. The match was refereed by WWE legend and former champion CM Punk.

The champion is enjoying a second reign as NXT’s top dog, but standing in his way is the same Superstar he dethroned, the boisterous Page.

Trick Williams will take on Ethan Page in a Devil’s Playground Match

Williams is a two-time NXT champion and is one of only six WWE Superstars to win the NXT Championship twice. Page is a one-time NXT Champion and lost his title at the hands of the current champion.

Page has won multiple tag team championships in many independent promotions, while the champion is the former one-time NXT North American Champion and the winner of the 2023 Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge. He was also ranked in the 2024 Pro Wrestling Illustrated as 28th in the top 500 singles wrestlers in the PWI 500.

Page has a total win record of 325 with seven draws and 310 losses. On the other hand, Williams had 65 wins with 2 draws and 41 losses.

Williams made his WWE debut at the 2021 NXT Breakout Tournament alongside WWE star Carmelo Hayes. Page on the other hand was in AEW and later joined ROH but due to not getting the opportunity to show what he could bring to the table he left ROH/AEW and made his WWE debut on May 28, 2024.
