Updated brackets for WWE King and Queen of the Ring tournament 2024 after 5/10 SmackDown

There are some big clashes to look forward to in the second round of the tournament

This week, WWE SmackDown had a sold-out event at Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania’s Mohegan Sun Arena. The fans were treated to some spectacular King and Queen of the Ring Tournament matches.

WWE’s 2024 King and Queen of the Ring tournaments have commenced, with contests on Raw and SmackDown. The finals will take place live in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, May 25. Thirty-two wrestlers from the roster are competing for the championship, which has previously been held by numerous well-known wrestlers.

Here’s an update on who all won this week on SmackDown

This week on WWE SmackDown, they took the next step toward becoming King and Queen of the Ring. Nia Jax beat Naomi in the opening bout of the night, advancing to the tournament.

Carmelo Hayes, the former NXT Champion, won his battle against Baron Corbin and advanced in the tournament.

Jade Cargill also advanced to the 2024 Queen of the Ring title, defeating Piper Niven. Furthermore, many more superstars have advanced through the event.

Bianca Belair defeated Candace LaRae to advance to the tournament. Whereas in the men’s tournament, Tama Tonga picked up the win over Angelo Dawkins to advance. Dawkins had to replace Bobby Lashley, who was pulled out of the match.

AJ Styles and Randy Orton fought the third and final King of the Ring match of the night. They fought on, and Orton used his iconic suspended DDT, but he was unable to capitalize. The Apex Predator was able to kick out of a Phenomenal Forearm before delivering an unexpected RKO to seal the victory.
