WWE SmackDown Results, Highlights & Winners (May 10, 2024): Solo Sikoa is incharge of The Bloodline

Cody vs Logan announced, Solo is the incharge of The Bloodline, Jax, Cargill, Belair, Hayes, Tonga & Orton advances in tournament and more!!!
The May 10, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is officially over and it is one of the must watch shows in recent times. The complete show was filled with interesting matches and segments, which targets the upcoming King and Queen of the Ring PLE in Saudi Arabia. WWE held a total of six-tournament matches and some major segments were showcased. Get to know what happened on this week’s episode of SmackDown.
SmackDown Summary & Highlights
Cody Rhodes & Logan Paul- Champion vs Champion
The SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis kicks-off Friday Night SmackDown and calls out The Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes. Aldis announced that he found Cody Rhodes’ next opponent, which is revealed to be the United States Champions Logan Paul. Logan said that he wanted to main event King and Queen of the Ring PLE in a Champion vs Champion match.
Cody went on to claim that he want United States Championship on thee line as well. Logan shuts him down and claim that he is the longest reigning champion in the company at present. He now wants to make it a Logan Paul Levesque Era. Logan asked Cody what his story is, when the story he finished is not even his. Logan wants to end his story by knocking out Cody at Saudi Arabia and taking th title away from him.
Cody said Logan is a dumb a*s. Cody said that he want the US title on the line, as that title win will make him the Grand Slam Champion in the company. He went on to say Logan can’t win a single match without a brass knuckle.
Queen of the Ring First Round- Naomi vs Nia Jax
The match began with Nia Jax slapping Naomi and Naomi strikes back. Jax with a takedown and throwdown took Naomi in control. Naomi fights back delivering a Bull Dog to the turnbuckle, sending Jax shoulder first to the ring post and delivering a suicide dive. However Jax pushed Naomi to the apron and hit a Samoan drop to regain control.
Naomi fights back delivering a Sunset Flip Powerbomb using the ropes, a disaster kick, dumping Jax face of the apron and split leg moonsault. During the final moments of the match, Naomi hit an Hurricanrana from the top rope followed by a couple of drop kicks.
When she went for the overhead kick, Jax caught her to deliver a powerbomb and Annihilator to pick up the win and advance to the next round.
King of the Ring First Round- Baron Corbin vs Carmelo Hayes
The match began with both countering each others move, but Hayes has the initial strike with a series of kicks. Corbin soon strikes back and hit a Fantom Driver.
After the commercial, Hayes it a clothesline from the middle rope and hit a tornado face burster. Corbin counters Hayes with a Deathvalley driver and a vertical suplex. Hayes hit a code breaker and knee to the face. Hayes looks for nothing but nut, Corbin escaped and landed a slam to the turnbuckles, clothesline and a cutter, but Hayes with a quick roll up secured the win.
Randy Orton Interview
Randy Orton is interviewed backstage. The Viper says that he has accomplished in the company, but not the King of the Ring, which he will accomplish this time. He says AJ is a phenomenal talent, but he looks to advance.Orton has some words for Tama Tonga. Orton says that he took his friend Kevin Owens out last week. Orton is pretty sure they will cross path soon, if that happens, he will not only be RKO out of nowhere, but he will do anthing that his a*s sees it coming.
Queen of the Ring First Round- Jade Cargill vs Piper Niven
Jade and Piper yell each other and went for a shoulder tackling challenge, where Cargill took Niven down when hit a shoulder tackle for the second time. Cargill super kicked Niven, but Niven toom Cargill down and hit a Senton to take control.
While referee is distracted Chelsea hit a cheap shot on Cargill. Niven took Cargill in a brief control, but The Storm hit her with a Blue Thunderbomb and a couple of corner splashes. Chelsea dostracted Cargill, but Cargill took her out down. The distraction made Niven took control over Cargill to hit a cannon ball.
Niven went for the ropes, but Cargill with a cycle kick and Jaded picked up the win to advance for the next round. She will face Nia Jax in the next round.
Queen of the Ring First Round- Bianca Belair vs Candice LeRae
The match began with Belair taking down Candice with a shoulder tackle. Belair looks for a Glamslam, but Candice sends her out. Belair swung Candice to the barricade and sent her in. While Belair tried to enter the ring, Indi attacked hee on the back of the knee. LeRae kept on targeting Belair’s knee, which made Belair limp, however Belair managed to deliver a KOD for the win.
The Bloodline
Paul Heyman claims that he is the Wiseman for Roman Reigns, but Solo Sikoa is taking the decisions. Solo asked who took decision to pull Roman from the draft? He address what Heyman tried to do signaling Jey for help last week. Solo said that Heyman didn’t spoke to Roman since the title loss, but Solo spoke. Solo said that Roman gave the control to Solo and made him the take decisions until he returns. He says that Heyman will be his Wiseman and hugs him.
King of the Ring First Round- Angelo Dawkins vs Tama Tonga
Tama Tonga wasted no time and was fired up to take down Dawkins in control. Dawkins fought back showcasing extreme athleticism. Dawkins toom Tonga out with a bulldozer. Solo tried to distract, but Dawkins took Solo down with a punch to the face. Ford hit a senton from the apron to take down Solo and Loa. Dawkins hit a Spine buster but Tama kicks out.
Loa caught Ford and Solo hit a Samoan spike on him. Dawkins is distracted, which made Tama to hit a Flatliner for the win. After the match, Solo Samoan Spiked Angelo Dawkins and left the ring with TheNew Bloodline members.
King of the Ring First Round- AJ Styles vs Randy Orton
The match began with both countering each other’s move. Randy has the first strike and he took Styles out of the ring. After the commercial, Randy landed ten punches to Styles’ face. Styles fights back and Orton is sent out. Styles chases him, but Orton hit four back drops, one on the announcement table, one on the apron, and two on the announcement table. Back in the ring, Styles landed strikes on Orton’s knee and targetting it over and over.
Orton started limping and Styles didn’t show mercy. Styles locked Orton with his submission manevuever, but Orton breaks and hit a power slam. Orton hit his signature DDT on Styles and measured for an RKO, but Styles countered and hit him with a Phenomenal ForeArm. Styles then went for a Phenomenal splash, but Orton countered with an RKO and picked up the win.
SmackDown Results
- Nia Jax defeated Naomi to advance to the Queen of the Ring Semi-Finals.
- Carmelo Hayes defeated Baron Corbin to advance to the King of the Ring Semi-Finals.
- Jade Cargill defeated Piper Niven to advance to the Queen of the Ring Semi-Finals.
- Bianca Belair defeated Candice LeRae to advance to the Queen of the Ring Semi-Finals.
- Tama Tonga defeated Angelo Dawkins to advance to the King of the Ring Semi-Finals.
- Randy Orton defeated AJ Styles to advance to the King of the Ring Semi-Finals.
