The Galmour continues targeting everyone on SmackDown.
‘The Glamour’ Blake Monroe ambushed Chelsea Green in an exclusive backstage segment on the July 10 edition of SmackDown. In the exclusive social media footage, which didn’t air on the live broadcast, Green suffered an unprovoked attack by Monroe.
The attack came during a backstage interview where Cathy Kelley interviewed Tiffany Stratton about how she planned to handle challenges from Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab. Stratton stated that she intended to continue carrying the Women’s United States Championship while also capturing another title.
Chelsea Green then came in and suggested that she and Stratton could become WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions together. Nia Jax and Lash Legend then interrupted and reminded them that they also had their sights set on the tag team titles.
As Nia, Lash, and Stratton left, Monroe ambushed Green, slamming her into the production boxes before introducing herself and asking Green to remember her name.
Blake Monroe has also targeted Giulia & Kiana James

Notably, the attack comes following a string of attacks where Monroe targeted Giulia and Kiana James. On the July 26 edition of SmackDown in London, Monroe made her first SmackDown appearance, attacking Giulia.
She then followed it up with another attack on the July 3 edition, this time targeting both Giulia and Kiana James backstage.
Neither WWE nor Monroe has explained the reason behind these unprovoked attacks. Notably, Mornoe’s first-ever appearance on SmackDown was in a backstage segment with Chelsea Green back in May.
It remains to be seen how these attacks shape up for Monroe’s in-ring debut on SmackDown, especially with SummerSlam right around the corner.
Why did Blake Monroe attack Chelsea Green?
Neither WWE nor Monroe has explained the intentions behind the attack, but it will likely be used to set up a storyline between the two.
Did the segment air live during SmackDown?
No, the backstage was posted by WWE as a digital exclusive and did not make it to the live broadcast.
