Roman Reigns was busy with his Hollywood schedule

Roman Reigns’ return wasn’t just about the shoes. The former champ had been missing from WWE programming due to a busy Hollywood schedule. He recently landed the role of Akuma in the live-action Street Fighter movie set to release in 2026. The film also features big names like Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, and Cody Rhodes.

In addition, Reigns stars in Prime Video’s The Pickup, set for an August release. The film features stars such as Eddie Murphy, Eva Longoria, and Keke Palmer. With numerous projects lined up, fans wondered when, or if, Reigns would return.
