Jimmy Uso was expected to be back on WWE television programming till now.

The ongoing saga of the Bloodline has started a fresh chapter with the grand comeback of the ‘Original Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns at WWE SummerSlam 2024.

During the main event match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa for the Undisputed WWE Championship contested under Bloodline Rules, chaos erupted with the influx of Rhodes’ allies and Bloodline members.

As both Sikoa and Rhodes lay on the ring mat, the music hit and Roman Reigns arrived at the scene for the first time since WrestleMania 40.

He went straight ahead to take down Solo Sikoa with a Superman Punch and a thunderous spear. This solidified his status as a babyface that the fans were behind and started his war against Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline, comprising Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu.

Why has Jimmy Uso not returned to WWE’s television programming?

Roman Reigns made another appearance on SmackDown after SummerSlam confronting Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. Despite being alone, The ‘OTC’ managed to take all three of them down and stood tall as the show came to a close.

But there is no denying that at some point, Roman Reigns would find himself outnumbered against Solo’s Bloodline.

Moreover, many fans expected that Reigns’ cousin, Jimmy Uso, who was exiled from the stable by Solo Sikoa after WrestleMania would return by his side as well. Further, some even believed that Jimmy Uso’s return would happen even before Roman Reigns, but WWE has still held it back.

The decision to have Jimmy Uso not return right now could be strategic to build Roman Reigns back up as a singular dominant force. A further creative direction by Triple H and his regime could see Reigns battle the Bloodline alone with even a one-on-one bout against Solo Sikoa at WWE Bad Blood. However, as WWE Survivor Series: War Games would come close, Reigns would find himself decimated by The Bloodline.

This could set the tone for the return of Reigns’ Wiseman who would bring back up for his Tribal Chief, in the form of the returning Jimmy Uso and other cohorts, like Jey Uso and Sami Zayn from the OG Bloodline, with the team going up against The new Bloodline in a War Games match.
