Jey Uso lost the Intercontinental title due to The Bloodline’s interference
‘Main Event’ Jey Uso lost the WWE Intercontinental title this week on Monday Night Raw due to the inference of the rogue Bloodline led by Solo Sikoa. Jey was defending his title against Bron Breakker, this was a rematch from their first encounter in which Jey captured the title.
The interference cost Jey the title and ended his first single title reign in just 27 days. The Bloodline’s appearance on the red brand was also to send a message to the former IC champion and deter him from joining forces with Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso.
The attack came after the IC Champion Jey Uso surprised the WWE universe with his SmackDown appearance last week. He stepped into the ring to address the new Bloodline and asked Solo Sikoa to consider his recent actions and their effect on the family and the Bloodline. Jey advised him against dividing the family.
During his appearance, Jey also had a backstage interaction with The OTC Roman Reigns and his brother Jimmy Uso. Reigns stated that he and the family are proud of Jey and his accomplishments but reiterated his position on joining forces with Jey, and said ‘No Yeet’.

Jey Uso’s return could neutralize the numbers game advantage
Jey himself has been hesitant to join forces with his old companions Reigns and Jimmy as the latter are unable to handle the rogue Bloodline on their own. Solo Sikoa and the faction have terrorized Reigns and Jimmy in recent interactions on the blue brand.
However, this recent attack on Raw might force Jey’s hand to join forces once again with Reigns and Jimmy. The reunion of the OG Bloodline will also neutralize the numbers game that is currently being held by the rogue Bloodline.
The arrival of Jey will create a massive buzz among fans and will add new complexity to the storyline. Although, there is no confirmation regarding Jey’s SmackDown appearance. Fans are speculating about his appearance on the blue brand after the vicious attack that cost Jey the IC title.
The loss also somewhat hints at WWE’s plans to reunite the OG Bloodline as it was not possible to trade him to SmackDown while he held the Intercontinental title. This is another angle that hints at Jey’s return to exact his revenge on Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline.
