WWE’s first PLE in Italy is set for May 31.
After Backlash 2026, WWE is preparing for the next PLE, which is Clash in Italy, WWE’s first-ever live event/PLE in the country. The event is set for May 31 at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy.
The historic event carries huge anticipation among WWE fans, and here we are, Khel Now’s early full match predictions for the show, featuring top names like Cody Rhodes, Gunther, Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, and more.
5. Becky Lynch (c) vs Sol Ruca – Women’s Intercontinental title

WWE first teased a clash between Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch and newly debuted star from NXT, Sol Ruca, during Ruca’s Raw contract signing last week. The segment ended with Becky missing a punch meant for Ruca and hitting GM Adam Pearce, following which Ruca took her down with a Sol Snatcher.
While Becky, for now, has resorted to mocking Ruca, it won’t take much time for her to launch an assault that will probably lead to a title clash at the show in Italy.

4. Paige & Brie Bella (c) vs The Irresistible Forces – Women’s Tag Team Champions
Since their win at WrestleMania, the newly crowned WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Paige and Brie Bella, have been the target of every tag team on Raw and SmackDown. While they’re set to defend the titles against Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez on next week’s Raw, the match will likely end in DQ, courtesy of the Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax & Lash Legend).
Nia and Lash already attacked the Champions last week on SmackDown, even injuring Paige, who was busted open after the attack. A WrestleMania 42 rematch for the title is likely on the horizon. WWE could make it more interesting by making it a multi-team affair once again.
3. Rhea Ripley (c) vs Jade Cargill – WWE Women’s title

Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab were absent from WWE programming since Cargill’s title loss at WrestleMania. The three made their return last week on SmackDown, attacking the WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. With the attack, Cargill made it clear that she wants a rematch and is looking to recapture the title.
WWE will likely announce a rematch between the two with the title on the line. It will be interesting to see if Rhea has to once again call on Iyo Sky to aid her against the number games or if she will have to ally with someone.
2. Roman Reigns (c) vs Jacob Fatu – World Heavyweight title

Jacob Fatu could not have made it any clearer on the fallout show that he is in no mood to acknowledge Roman Reigns. Fatu attacked Reigns and even The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) last night on Raw, making it clear that the feud is far from over.
The attack is likely going to kick off a civil war, and with no end in sight, Roman will likely have to give Fatu a rematch and make sure that he beats him fare and square without any controversy.
1. Cody Rhodes (c) vs Gunther – Undisputed title
During last week’s SmackDown, Paul Heyman informed Cody Rhodes that the favor that Gunther wanted was a contract for a match against him for the Undisputed title at Clash in Italy. Gunther then attacked Rhodes, leading to another skirmish between the two.
It goes without saying that Rhodes is going to accept the challenge, making the title match official for Italy, which is why the match sits at number 1 on our prediction list. That said, it will be interesting to see how the match plays out and the storyline unfolds.

Inalpi Arena in Turin, Piedmont Region, Italy, will host the upcoming edition of the Clash in Italy PLE on May 31.
