WWE Crown Jewel 2025: Key stats & everything you need to know

WWE Crown Jewel 2025 goes to Perth, Australia.

WWE is all set to deliver their second-to-last PLE of 2025, which is WWE Crown Jewel 2025. The seventh edition of the PLE will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia, Australia.

This is the first time the Crown Jewel PLE is being held outside of Saudi Arabia, as all six previous events have been held in the capital city of Riyadh. Nevertheless, the men’s and women’s Crown Jewel Championship will once again be the focal point of the show.

The event will mark John Cena’s final pay-per-view and livestream appearance in Australia. Cena has only five appearances left on his retirement tour, two of which are at the remaining two PLEs of 2025.

Seth Rollins (c) vs Cody Rhodes (c) – Men’s Crown Jewel title match

Following his successful title defense in the main event of Wrestlepalooza, Cody Rhodes attended the post-show presser, where he was confronted by World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. The two had an intense face-off during the post-show presser.

• Cody Rhodes will face Seth Rollins at WWE Crown Jewel 2025, aiming to capture his second consecutive Crown Jewel championship.
• In 2024, Rhodes defeated Gunther, who was the World Heavyweight Champion at the time.
• Rhodes holds an undefeated 2-0 record at Crown Jewel, with wins over Damian Priest (2023) and Gunther (2024).
• In 2025, Rhodes has a 5-1 record at Premium Live Events (PLEs); his only loss came at WrestleMania 41, where John Cena beat him for the WWE Championship.
• Seth Rollins has competed in every Crown Jewel event except 2022, holding a 3-3 overall record at the event.
• One of Rollins’ key victories came at Crown Jewel 2024, where he defeated his current Vision teammate, Bronson Reed.
• Rollins has a 4-3 PLE record in 2025, highlighted by his shortest match ever, a successful Money in the Bank cash-in at SummerSlam 2025 to defeat CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship.

John Cena vs AJ Styles – Singles match

With five appearances left on his retirement tour, John Cena rallied for a final match against ‘The Phenomenal’ AJ Styles. Cena, amid uproar from fans tagged Styles and Triple H petitioning for the match. Styles quickly responded, accepting the offer, which was later made official by Triple H.

Triple H made the match official via his X handle, posting the match poster. Cena has no confirmed appearance before the PLE, which means fans won’t get to see a promo battle between the two stars.

• John Cena and AJ Styles began their WWE PLE rivalry at Money in the Bank 2016, where Styles earned the win.
• The two have faced each other three times one-on-one at PLEs: Money in the Bank (2016), SummerSlam (2016), and Royal Rumble (2017).
• Styles leads the series 2-1, but Cena won their most recent encounter at Royal Rumble 2017, capturing his 16th WWE Championship and tying Ric Flair’s record for most world title reigns.
• Cena holds a 5-4 record in 2025 Premium Live Events (PLEs) during his farewell tour.
• His first win of 2025 came in March, when he triumphed in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match.
• Cena’s most recent PLE appearance saw him lose to Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza last month.
• Cena has competed once at Crown Jewel (2023), where he lost to Solo Sikoa via pinfall.
• AJ Styles owns a 2-2 record at Crown Jewel.
• His two victories came at the first two Crown Jewels, defeating Samoa Joe (2018) to retain the WWE Championship, and Humberto Carrillo (2019) to retain the United States Championship.
• Styles’ last PLE win came on November 26, 2022, at Survivor Series: WarGames, when he defeated Finn Balor.

Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs Tiffany Stratton – Women’s Crown Jewel title match

During the September 22 episode of Monday Night Raw, Stephanie Vaquer celebrated her Women’s World title win at Wrestlepalooza.

General Manager Adam Pearce, during the segment, announced that on 09/26 SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton successfully defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill and Nia Jax on the September 26 episode of SmackDown. She would now face Vaquer in Australia for the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship.

• Wrestlepalooza was Vaquer’s first one-on-one WWE Premium Live Event (PLE) match outside of NXT. Earlier in 2025, she competed in three multi-person matches: the Royal Rumble, the Money in the Bank ladder match, and the No. 1 Contender Battle Royal at WWE Evolution.
• Stratton holds a 4-0 record in WWE PLE matches in 2025. By the time Crown Jewel takes place, she will have been WWE Women’s Champion for 281 days. She has never faced Vaquer before.
• The inaugural WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Champion was Liv Morgan. In 2024, as the Women’s World Champion, she defeated then-WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax to earn that distinction.

Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky vs The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) – Tag Team match – Key stats

In the opening moments of the September 29 episode of Monday Night Raw, Iyo Sky was prepared to make peace with the Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane), whom she still considered family. However, another surprise attack by Asuka and Sane on both Sky and Rhea Ripley left her with no choice but to fight back.

Iyo Sky, after talking to GM Adam Pearce, informed Rhea that the two would be teaming up to take on Asuka and Sane in a tag team match at the upcoming PLE in Ripley’s backyard.

• Although Ripley will be teaming with IYO SKY at Crown Jewel, the two have been rivals for much of 2025. SKY has faced Ripley in three of her five PLE matches this year, all victories for SKY. Interestingly, Ripley’s only main roster win over her came back in 2023 when she triumphed in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
• Perth last hosted a WWE Premium Live Event in 2024 with the Elimination Chamber show. That night, Ripley headlined the event and successfully retained the Women’s World Championship against Nia Jax in front of a hometown crowd.
• IYO SKY’s Crown Jewel history dates back to 2022, when she teamed with Dakota Kai to defeat Asuka and Alexa Bliss for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles, a victory that marked one of her first major achievements on the main roster.

Roman Reigns vs Bronson Reed – Australian Street Fight

During the Crown Jewel go-home show, Roman Reigns was interrupted by Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman. The segment ended with a match announcement between the two for the PLE. Reigns and Reed will battle once again, this time in an Australian Street Fight.

• Roman Reigns holds the record for the most main event appearances in Crown Jewel history with three. He is 4-1 overall at the event and remains undefeated in the main event slot with a 3-0 record.
• Reigns also has a recent advantage over Bronson Reed, having defeated him earlier this year at WWE Clash in Paris 2025.
