September 22 episode of Raw served as the fallout show from Wrestlepalooza 2025!

The September 22 episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from the Ford Center in Evansville, Indianapolis. The episode served as the fallout show from the Wrestlepalooza PLE and will feature the aftermath of what transpired last Saturday.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes kicked off the show and was confronted by the World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins ahead of their scheduled clash at Crown Jewel. The two previewed their upcoming clash while recapping their previous clashes.

The newly crowned Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer also celebrated her title win. She is set to battle the winner of the match between Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, and Nia Jax on this week’s SmackDown. Vaquer will battle the winner of the WWE Women’s title clash at Crown Jewel in a Champion vs Champion bout.

Penta & War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) defeated The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) & Grayson Waller in a no disqualification six-man tag team match in the first match of the 09/22 show.

Furthermore, Bayley pinned Roxanne Perez, while Rusev defeated JD McDonagh. Jey Uso defeated LA Knight in the co-main event of the show, with little interference from Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Jimmy Uso aided Knight from further attack from The Vision after the match.

In the main event of the show, Rhea Ripley pinned Asuka and was attacked by Asuka and Kairi Sane after the match. Iyo Sky came to plead with Asuka, who turned on Iyo, attacking her as she, along with Sane, laid waste to Sky to end the show.

During the fallout show, WWE announced multiple matches and segments for next week’s show. The Usos (Jey & Jimmy Uso) are set to battle The Vision (Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed) in a tornado tag team match. This will be a rematch from their meeting at Wrestlepalooza 2025, where The Vision picked up the win.

Furthermore, after his win against JD McDonagh this week, Rusev is set to battle Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental title. Rusev is determined to capture ‘his’ Intercontinental title, while Mysterio is looking to continue his double Champion run.

Additionally, following her win over Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez, Bayley will take on Raquel Rodriguez next week. Rodriguez was present during the match and caused multiple interferences with Perez.

During the show, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee had a conversation with GM Adam Pearce. Styles mentioned that the Americanos were starting to annoy him, and, being as petty as he is, they wanted a match next week. When Pearce asked which two of the Americanos they wanted, they replied they didn’t care. Pearce assured them he’d talk to the Americanos and get the match made.
