WWE RAW Results, Highlights & Winners (July 8, 2024): Rhea Ripley returns (Mami's back!)

Punk & Rollins face-off, Jey defeats Gable, Bo Dallas met Pearce, Bron assaults Sami & Ilja, Rhea returns & much more!
The July 08, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw is officially over and it is the Money in the Bank Go-Home show. WWE showcased some of the interestling matches and segments on the show, based on the existing feud and planting seeds for upcoming SummerSlam 2024. Get to know what happened this week on Raw, as we came out with the complete show summary, highlights, results & winner’s list.
WWE Raw Summary & Highlights
CM Punk & Seth Rollins Promo
CM Punk kicked-off Monday Night Raw and addressed the WWE Universe & wished Cena for his retirement. He then spoke about what is happening with him & Drew McIntyre. He said that things got personal between them and he will ensure that Drew will never get his hands on the world title again.
He is upset that Drew is not here, as he came to fight him, but he got suspended for his actions on Saturday. Punk said that he is also fined $20,000 USD, but its okay for him, as it is worthy. However he requested Adam Pearce to lifr McIntyre’s suspension and called out Pearce.
Seth Rollins music was played and walked to the ring. Punk went outside and sat on the announcement table. But The Visionary called him to the ring and asked why he is sticking his nose on his business. Punk explains that he doesn’t stick his nose on Seth Rollins’ business, instead handling his own business.
Punk said that things between him & McIntyre got personal and apologized to seth Rollins for costing him the title. However Punk doesn’t want to apologize that much, as it is Seth Rollins. Rollins said that Punk always has excuses and warned him that when Punk gets cleared, Rollins will step up and will send Punk back to the banch, before he keeps his hands on Drew McIntyre.
Backstage
Dominik Mysterio met Adam Pearce asking to relieve himself from the tag team match tonight. He doesn’t wanna team up with Liv Morgan. But Pearce don’t give a damn. He made it official and it is happening tonight. Liv met Dominik and they finally agreed to team up and face Rey and Zelina tonight.
Jey Uso vs Chad Gable
Both Chad Gable & Jey Uso are not 100%, as they got taped as they hurt bad at Money in the Bank. The match began with both locking their hands and Gable took Jey with a take down. Jey tried to fight back, but Gable took total control of Jey for the initial half.
Gable delivered a belly to belly suplex on Jey outside the ring. During the commercials, they took the fight to the ring with Gable slamming Jey and delivering a flying headbutt. Jey fought back sending Gable out of the ring and delivering suicide dive & corner splash inside the ring. Gable agains tries to take control using ankle lock, but the lights started turning-off. Jey used the distraction to spear Gable and pick up the win.
Nikki Cross/ Abby The Witch
The light turned off completely and Jey escaped to the backstage. Nikki Cross showed up and Gable escaped. She delivered a box to the commentary team and walked away. The parcel again contains a VHS tape.
Bronson Reed vs Pete Dunne
Before the match, Bronson Reed met Sheamus backstage and challenged for a fight, but for next week, as he faces his friend Pete Dunne next.
Pete Dunne took full control of the match with a number of offenses including kicks to the back of th head, stomping and extending the fingers. Reed tried to fight back, but unable to take Dunne in control. In the final moments of the match, Reed delivered a powerbomb and went for the top rope. Dunne tried to stop him, but Reed executed Tsunami on him for the win.
After the match, Reed tried for another Tsunami on Dunne, but Sheamus saved him. Sheamus and Dunne tried to celebrate, but Dunne pushed him & walked away.
Backstage- Seth Rollins & Damian Priest
Seth Rollins met Judgment Day. Damian Priest says that he will take care of him. Rollins said that Priest is lucky enough and asked him to be better than it, as he faces Gunther at SummerSlam. Rollins stay on their words on not challenging him again, but Priest gave him another title shot after SummerSlam, when he is still champion defeating Gunther. Both shook hands. Priest picked up a call and Rollins walked away.
Sami Zayn & Bron Breakker
Sami Zayn is proud to be in nation’s capital representing Canada as thr champion. He addresses what happened on Saturday. He believes that Sami is not Underdog anymore, as he is still a champion. Sami says that Breakker didn’t got the thing at MITB, that is keeping Sami down.
Bron Breakker interfered. Sami Zayn asks why he is here. He came out here to look into the eyes of the only one who beat him in the locker room. Breakker didn’t came asking for a rematch, but… Breakker speared him and throws punches on his face.
Adam Pearce with a bunch of officials came to separate Breakker from Zayn. Breakker distracts them and ran to spear Zayn again outside the ring. On the other hand, while making his way to the backstage, Ilja Dragunov tried to fight Breakker. As the officials stopped him, he went on to check Sami Zayn.
On Backstage, Ilja Dragunov wanted Bron Breakker tonight and Adam Pearce gives him the match.
Six Man Tag Team Championship- The Judgment Day vs Braun Strowman & Awesome-Truth
While Miz & Truth make their way to the ring, Judgment Day attacked them. Braun Strowman ran to the ring chasing the crew. He caught Carlito and sends him to the barricade. Inside the ring, Miz & Truth delivered AA on McDonagh and Balor. Strowman sent Carlito to the ring. Truth and Carlito start the match, but Truth delivering Five Knuckle Shuffle and AA. He sent Balor and JD out of the ring to have full control of the match, before the commercial.
Back after commercial, McDonagh takes Miz in control, taking him to their corner, tagging Balor in. Miz fight back and looks to tag their team mates, but McDonagh stops him. He slaps Truth out and pissed off Braun. Miz tagged Strowman and he’s fired up. Strowman delivered a chokeslam to Balor and took JD and Balor out with a clothesline.
Strowman with Truth took Balor and Carlito down with the Strowman express. Strowman chased McDonagh to the audience area. Inside the ring, Balor hit Truth with a Coupe de Grace for the win.
Backstage- CM Punk met Adam Pearce
CM Punk and Nick Aldis discussed about Drew McIntyre. Pearce will call Drew and ask him to be on Raw next week, but he wanted Punk to be at home, until he is cleared to compete. Untill then Pearce will take care of McIntyre.
Backstage- Dom, Liv & Judgment Day
Dom and Liv discuss about training for the match. Liv takes Dom to the couch and stretches his leg. All the members of Judgment Day caught him. Dom acts like a suspect and went to fix things tonight.
Uncle Howdy / Bo Dallas
The VHS tape was played, where Bo Dallas said that he takes care of the family and he gave them a purpose. They need no master now, as he set them free. He asked Hoedy do they look sick and says that the Sick will what they be.
Backstage- Adam Pearce, Chad Gable & Bo Dallas
Gable met Adam Pearce saying that the VHS tape is all about him. He wanted Pearce to fix it. Pearce asked him to sort out why they are coming after him. Gable said that he gonna take one month vacation to escape them and when he is back, he wanted apology from all. Pearce opened his room and sees Bo Dallas stting on the couch.
Ilja Dragunov vs Bron Breakker
The match began with Breakker delivering a German Suplex to Ilja Dragunov. Dragunov delivers a German Suplex on Breakker. Breakker took Dragunov with a running shoulder takle and a Gorilla Press Slam.
Back after the commercial, Breakker hit a Spinebuster on Dragunov and stretches his spine. Dragunov fights back and both startrd to exchange hands and chops. Dragunov delivered a big kick to the back of the head and with a running knee. Dragunov went for the top rope and Breakker joined him. However Breakker hit a powerbomb on Breakker and delivered a Senton from top rope.
Ilja looks for a H Bomb, but Breakker countered with a Knee and delivers a Gorilla Press gut buster to the knee. Breakker looks for a Frankienstiener, but Dragunov took him down. Dragunov looks for a leg drop, but Breakker took him out of the ring. Breakker takes long steps for a spear, but Ilja kicked him with a big boot.
Dragunov looks for a H bomb outside the ring, bur Breakker threw a chair on Ilja’s head to end the match in a DQ. Bron tried to assault Ilja, but Sami Zayn came for a fight. Breakker took both Sami and Ilja down and stands tall.
Six Women Tag Team Match- Damage CTRL vs Lyra Valkyria, Katana Chance & Kayden Carter
All the six women fight each other, where Kairi and Carter start the match. Kai tags in, where Chance and Carter took her in control with back to back to back tag. Valkyria was legal and she kicks Kai‘s head and Damage CTRL is sent out and all the three delivered a slide kick on them.
After the commercial, Chance tried tag Lyra, bur Sky stops her. However Chance hits a hot tag on Lyra. She is fired up and hit Sky with a powerbomb. All the six women came to the middle of the ring locking their hands for a vertical suplex, but the babyfaces delivered a triple vertical suplex on Damage CTRL.
Lyra dragged Kai to their corner, where Chance and Carter delivered their finisher. But IYO breaks it. Damage CTRL took all the babyfaces down and picks up the win.
Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark and Sonya Deville attacked Damage CTRL, laying everyone down. The new trio stands tall and made the statement.
Mixed Tag Team Match- Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio vs Rey Mysterio & Zelina Vega
Liv Morgan and Zelina Vega start the match and Vega takes the initial control. Liv tagged Dom in and Rey enters. Rey hit four punches to the face, Dom escapes, but Rey put him down and fagged Vega in. Vega sent Dom out, but Liv attacked her from the back. Vega fights back driving her face first to the floor.
Dom and Liv went out and have a quick discussion, where Vega took Liv down with a Meteora and Rey took Dom with a Senton. Back after the commercial, Dom tears Rey’s mask and puts Rey down to punch his face. Rey tries to fight back, but Dom delivered a Michinoku driver and continues to disrespect Dom. Rey sent Dkm out of the ring. Vega tags in and fights liv with a step up enzigiri and driving her face first to the mat.
Vega delivered a Meteora and looks for Code Red, but Liv counters with three Amegos. Liv looks for Obliviam, but Vega escaped and both collide in the middle of the ring. Rey and Dom tags in and Rey tolm Dom in control with knee to the face and a springboard lionsault.
Dom delivered an Amego and Rey took him for a 619. Dom stops Rey, but Vega delivered a 619 to Dom’s mid section. Rey tried to pin Dom, but Liv breaks. Vega delivered a 619 to Liv and they took the fight outside the ring. Rey toom Dom to the top rope, Liv distracts the ref by throwing the chair in. Liv pushed Rey to the ropes, hitting him in the groin. Dom with a Frog Splash pinned Rey for the win.
Rhea Ripley returns
Dom and Liv celebrate their win, where Liv hugs Dom and they trying to get romantic, however Rhea Ripley‘s music is played. Ripley made her return and Liv escaped through the crowd. Dom asks Rhea for a hug, but Ripley walk passing him.

- Jey Uso defeated Chad Gable by pinfall.
- Bronson Reed defeated pete Dunne by pinfall.
- The Judgment Day defeated Braun Strowman, The Miz & R-Truth.
- Ilja Dragunov vs Bron Breakker ends in a disqualification.
- Damage CTRL defeated Lyra Valkyria, Katana Chance & Kayden Carter.
- Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan defeated Rey Mysterio & Zelina Vega by pinfall.
